Earlier this year, Dior released a reincarnation of their iconic 1947 Miss Dior fragrance. Now a parfum (as opposed to the revamped eau de parfum released in 2021), the new Miss Dior "reappropriates the initial olfactory inspiration of Miss Dior, infusing it with the spirit of contemporary youth". The Bottle:
Although I have not been impressed with every single Dior fragrance I've tried, I have always loved the brand's attention to detail when it comes to packaging design. Housed in a rectangular glass bottle etched with a houndstooth pattern on its sides and base, the Miss Dior Parfum looks fairly similar to the 2021 Miss Dior Eau de Parum. The bottle features the recognizable “poignard” bow woven with metallic silver threads and the perfume liquid is tinted a fresh shade of rose for an ultra-feminine touch. The bottle looks elegant, classic, and luxurious.

Opening on a sparkling sweet fruity accord, the Miss Dior is definitely a strawberry-forward fragrance. I actually don't think I own many other perfumes with a strong strawberry note so this was rather unique and refreshing. The sweet strawberry pairs very well with the intoxicating scent of jasmine, which is then rounded off with the warm base notes. I'm not a fan of strong patchouli so I was relieved that the patchouli in Miss Dior Parfum is rather subtle and tolerable. Overall, this is a well-balanced sweet fruity floral fragrance with an average sillage and longevity. It's youthful and feminine but not overdone. The strawberry is a standout for me so for anyone who enjoys the sweet freshness of strawberries, this is definitely worth trying.
