Belif is one of the more heavily promoted Korean skincare brands in North America. Belif offers one of my favorite moisturizers on the market (
The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb) but I somehow only recently found out that they carry a sunscreen as well! Described as a two-in-one moisturizing sunscreen, the
Aqua Bomb Broad Spectrum SPF 50 (C$51.50 for 50 ml) is infused with a handful of botanical extracts (calendula, marigold, honeysuckle) for a boost of antioxidant properties. To read my thoughts on the formulation, click......

Packaged in a uniquely shaped squeeze bottle with a flap cap, the Belif Aqua Bomb Broad Spectrum SPF 50 is a chemical sunscreen that offers a moisturizing formulation. With a light cream consistency, the sunscreen takes a bit of effort to blend. However, once fully blended, the Belif Aqua Bomb Broad Spectrum SPF 50 leaves no white cast. The formulation doesn't feel super heavy but it definitely leaves behind a bit of shine. I needed to blot a couple times during the day as my T-zone started to look quite shiny. As compared to other Korean sunscreens (
Beauty of Joseon,
Round Lab,
SKIN1004) I've tried in the past, the Belif Aqua Bomb Broad Spectrum SPF 50 definitely has a slightly heavier formulation, but not necessarily in a bad way. I think the Belif formulation is a bit more nourishing, so perhaps it's more suitable for dry skin or for the winter season. I did not experience any pilling or patching, and the sunscreen layered well with other skincare products. Overall, it is a very good chemical sunscreen. However, I do think the price is a bit high and the formulation is not the most lightweight as compared to some of the other Korean sunscreens on the market.
