Romand | Dewyful Water Tint & Juicy Lasting Tint |
Essentially a combination of a liquid lipstick, lip gloss, and lip stain, the Romand Juicy Lasting Tint has a gel-cream consistency and intense pigmentation. While not smudge-proof, the lip tint is very long-lasting. I wrote an in-depth review for the shade "11Pink Pumpkin" so please refer to that post for a more detailed review of the formulation.
This time around, I purchased two new shades. "24 Peeling Angdoo" is a fairly deep pink that's a cross between a berry pink and a rosewood pink. The color is darker than I expected based on the reference swatches but depending on how much I apply, I do have some control over how deep the color shows up. Overall, though, I'm quite pleased with the color. It's very flattering and sophisticated. Perhaps not a very good spring or summer color but for fall and winter, it's perfect!

Next up is "25 Bare Grape". According to various K-Beauty retailers, this is the bestselling shade of all the Romand Juicy Lasting Tints and I can easily see why. A muted, cool-tone pink, "25 Bare Grape" is very natural and easy to wear, kind of like an elevated version of the "my lips but better" pink.

Romand Dewyful Water Tint ($10.19 for 5g):
Romand actually offers several different types of lip tints although the Juicy Lasting Tint is their most popular one. The Dewful Water Tint probably comes second and one of the shades "13 Custard Mauve" is apparently a holy grail product for many. Packaged in a more rectangular tube with a paddle-shaped doe-foot that picks up products on both sides, the Dewyful Water Tint has a lighter, more gel-like consistency compared to the Juicy Lasting Tint. The Dewful Water Tint is also a touch sheerer in comparison. So on the lips, it looks a bit more translucent, fresh, and youthful. I would argue that the Dewyful Water Tint is slightly more moisturizing but when the shine wears off, it still will start to feel a bit dry.

Here is a comparison swatch of all three shades. As you can see, all three are pretty similar to each other. Clearly, I have a penchant for rosy pinks. If I were to choose, I would pick "13 Custard Mauve" over "25 Bare Grape"; they are similar enough that I don't need both. "24 Peeling Angdoo", though, is definitely different from the two, especially on the lips.
