Packaged in a beige plastic tube that reflects the "natural" theme, the DHC Color Lip Cream Natural Aroma is a tinted lip balm formulated with castor oil, caprylic triglyceride, jojoba oil, candelilla wax, castor oil, olive oil, squalane, and lanolin. The two available shades, "
Wine Red" and "
Cassis Rose" are uniquely scented with different essential oils. The lip balms are very silky and smooth. They aren't as nourishing as heavier, petroleum-based lip balms but are more lightweight and comfortable on the lips, providing ample hydration that lasts for several hours. Both shades are surprisingly pigmented, even one swipe provides quite a bit of color, comparable to sheer lipsticks. Of course, given that these are balms, the colors will wear off with eating and drinking but they do last longer than a lot of other tinted balms I've tried, probably in part due to how pigmented they are.

Wine Red: This is a beautiful rosy red that's very flattering and natural. It is scented with juniper, orange peel, lime, and lemon for a woodsy citrus fragrance. Although the "natural aroma" is a main feature of these balms, the scent really isn't as strong as compared to some of the other lip products I've tried.

Cassis Rose: This is a pretty deep pink. Based on the packaging and promotional material, I was expecting a softer, rosy shade. Nevertheless, it's still very pretty. This one is scented with rose, marjoram, and chamomile for a soft floral fragrance.
