Romand (stylized as Rom&nd) seems to be incredibly popular, especially for their lip products. I'm a huge fan of sheer tinted balms (the Dior Addict Lip Glow is one of my favorites) so I was instantly drawn to their
Glasting Melting Balm (~C$13.99 for 3.5g) range. So I picked up a couple shades and wanted to share my thoughts with you today...

Romand | Glasting Melting Balm |
Packaging:The Glasting Melting Balm comes in a pearlescent white plastic tube with a translucent cap that matches the shade inside. I like that the shade name is clearly labeled near the base of the tube, making it easier to pick out the color I'm looking for. The twisting mechanism is very precise, giving me lots of control over how much balm I want to dispense. However, I don't think the formulation is delicate enough to warrant such precision so it's actually kind of annoying to have to twist so many times to get a decent amount out of the tube for application. However, the feature could cater to those living in warmer climates where the balm stays in a much softer state. Overall, the packaging feels very fun and youthful but still nicely made.

Romand | Glasting Melting Balm |
Formulation:Infused with jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, shea butter, and argan oil, the Romand Glasting Melting Balm is a very nourishing tinted lip balm. The formulation is pretty pigmented, so I would even consider these sheer lipsticks. With a very lovely fruity scent, the formulation has a buttery smooth consistency that glides beautifully on the lips. The color is buildable but if you only apply a thin layer, you won't get that luscious shine, which is my favorite quality of the balm. The finish is super moisturizing and lightweight, slightly tacky but not heavy. The formulation will transfer with eating and drinking. Overall, the Romand Glasting Melting Balm is an amazing lip product that rivals the Dior Addict Lip Glow. Formulation-wise, Romand is slightly softer, cushiony, and way more affordable than Dior. However, it doesn't leave a stain when the finish wears off. Nevertheless, if you are a fan of the Dior Addict Lip Glow or other similar tinted lip balms, you will absolutely love these.

Romand | Glasting Melting Balm in "04 Hippie Berry" & "06 Kaya Fig" |
04 Hippie Berry: This is a super pretty and fresh berry red. The color is actually very bright and pigmented, perfect for spring and summer.

06 Kaya Fig: This is a beautiful MLBB (my lips but better) shade. It's a neutral rose that's flattering and delicate.
