BYOMA | Creamy Jelly Cleanser |
BYOMA | Creamy Jelly Cleanser (C$17.49 for 175 ml):Packaged in a plastic pump bottle, the BYOMA Creamy Jelly is a hydrating gel cleanser formulated with a tri-ceramide complex that boosts the skin barrier. The packaging is super cute, sleek, and eye-catching but I wish the pump spout was a bit longer as more often than not, the cleanser gets pumped down the neck of the bottle instead of into my hand.
The fragrance-free formulation also contains licorice extract and green tea extract for a boost of antioxidants. With a light gel consistency, the BYOMA Creamy Jelly Cleanser creates a nice, refreshing lather that leaves the skin clean but not stripped. Overall, this is a solid everyday cleanser and the price point is very reasonable.

BYOMA | Brightening Serum |
BYOMA | Brightening Serum (C$21.99 for 30 ml):Packaged in a plastic bottle with a dropper dispenser, the Brightening Serum is formulated with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and a tri-ceramide complex. Although the formulation contains ascorbic acid and lactic acid, it is not advertised as a vitamin C serum or an AHA serum. Therefore, I presume those ingredient concentrations are low enough that they aren't the major players here.
With a light gel consistency, the formulation spreads easily on the skin. The serum takes a few moments to fully absorb and the formulation forms a bit of micro-lather which I do not love. The serum provides a nice dose of hydration but in terms of its brightening effect, it's not as potent as some of the vitamin C serums I've tried before.

BYOMA | Brightening Serum |
Ingredients: Aqua, Methylpropanediol, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Glycerin, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ceramide NP, Cholesterol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Phytosphingosine, Sodium Phytate, Ascorbic Acid, Stearic Acid, Oleic Acid, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Xanthan Gum, Squalane, Tocopherol, Lactic Acid, Carbomer, Tromethamine, Caprylyl Glycol, Caprylhydroxamic Acid. |
BYOMA | Moisturizing Gel Cream |
BYOMA | Moisturizing Gel Cream (C$19.45 for 50 ml):This is an oil-free lightweight moisturizer packaged in an airless pump plastic tube. Similar to the Creamy Jelly Cleanser, the spout on this one is a bit short so I feel like whenever I pump the dispenser, the cream kind of just collects around the neck of the bottle.
The formulation contains a tri-ceramide complex, niacinamide, and green tea extract. As is with all products from BYOMA, the formulation is fragrance-free. The cream has a light consistency that easily spreads and absorbs into the skin. It's perfect for those with combination, oily skin but dry skin may require something richer, especially for the nighttime.

BYOMA | Moisturizing Gel Cream |
Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Niacinamide, Ceramide NP, Cholesterol, Phytosphingosine, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Stearic Acid, Oleic Acid, Lactic Acid, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Tromethamine, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Caprylhydroxamic Acid.
Overall, all three products are good. The vibrant, minimalist packaging is definitely in line with the current consumer aesthetic and the pricing makes it easily accessible to most. However, I do feel that the market is very saturated right now with similar skincare brands (ex.
Glossier,
The Ordinary,
The INKEY List, Florence by Mills) so I'm not sure if BYOMA's offerings are unique enough to make it stand out. However, I think BYOMA has room to grow if they offer some more unique products so I'll keep my eyes peeled.
