I have not really been keeping up with THE FACE SHOP lately so I was pleasantly surprised to receive a couple items from The Therapy collection. Made with certified vegan formulations, The Therapy Vegan Blending Toner (C$45 for 180 ml) and Vegan Blending Cream (C$60 for 60 ml) are two unique products that deeply moisturize the skin. Housed in a luxurious glass bottle, this lightweight toner is formulated with Swiss edelweiss extract that softens and moisturizes the skin. Also containing oil drops made with natural polysaccharides, sandalwood oil, avocado oil, and calendula oil, The Therapy Vegan Blending Toner has a thin, liquid consistency with a very light and natural botanical smell. It applies easily on the skin and absorbs quickly without leaving any palpable residue. Unfortunately, the formulation contains some alcohol (it's the third ingredient on the list), so it might have some drying effect. I've not experienced it myself but I also didn't feel like the toner provided much in terms of hydration or glow. Overall, The Therapy Vegan Blending Toner feels very "meh". I'll have no trouble finishing the bottle but it's not a toner I would go out of my way to recommend to others.

Made of two distinct layers, The Therapy Vegan Blending Cream is a face cream that needs to be hand-mixed before first use. Housed in a sturdy plastic, refillable jar (refills sold separately), the cream has an upper layer made of a lightweight gel containing essential oils and hydrating ingredients. The lower layer has a more traditional cream consistency, formulated with lipids such as ceramide. The jar comes with a spatula but the idea of having to manually mix the cream feels more gimmicky than practical. Also, I feel that hand-mixing the whole jar (even with a spatula) feels unsanitary, introducing possible pathogens and air into the product during the process.
Once mixed, The Therapy Vegan Blending Cream has a lightweight cream consistency. The formulation also contains squalane, edelweiss extract, calendula extract, olive oil, and avocado oil. The cream applies nicely on the face but it did feel a touch heavy. I think the formulation definitely caters to those with dry skin although people with normal to combo skin may enjoy it during the drier month.
