Disclaimer: The product featured was purchased by me.As I mentioned in my review of the
Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics Sunscreen, I purchased a few sunscreens on Stylvana this summer. I had intended to review them all before the end of summer but never got around to it. However, just because summer is over doesn't mean that we should stop caring about suncare so I thought I would share with you my thoughts on the
SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50 PA++++ (C$13 for 50 ml). This is another viral Korean chemical skincare that you've probably seen or heard about. So is it worth all the hype? Read my review to find out......

SKIN1004 | Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50 PA++++ |
Packaged in a squeeze tube topped with an airless pump dispenser, the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50 PA++++ definitely takes the crown for packaging out of all the Korean/Japanese foundations I've tried. The pump makes the application much more convenient and mess-free. Formulated with Centella asiatica (cica) extract, hyaluronic acid, and a baby green complex (extracts of various botanicals), this sunscreen has a lightweight formulation that spreads very easily on the skin. All the sunscreen ingredients are chemical so the formulation does not leave behind any white cast. Initially, the consistency of the sunscreen feels a bit thicker than that of Beauty of Joseon, but as soon as I start to blend it on the skin it becomes serum-like and quick to absorb. The formulation feels lightly hydrating and the finish is natural and not overly dewy. The finish pairs well with other skincare or makeup products and I've not experienced any pilling or patching. Overall, this is an excellent sunscreen. Personally, I prefer the
Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics Sunscreen just a bit more because it's a touch lighter and more refreshing, but this one from SKIN1004 is a close second.

To note, I bought this sunscreen on Stylevana for only $13 and I see that it's available in most places for almost C$30. I've ordered a few times from Stylvana now so I would say it's a pretty reliable site for both Korean and Japanese beauty products. Their price is always more competitive but the downside is the slow shipping time.
