Diorskin Forever Perfect Matte Powder Foundation (C$76 for 10 g) is available in 18 shades. I've got all the details to share with you today. To read on, click......
Packaging:The Diorskin Forever Perfect Matte Powder Foundation comes in a sleek rectangular compact divided into two compartments. The pressed powder foundation is on the left and the sponge applicator is on the left. The sponge applicator has a flocked finish on one side to provide a fuller coverage. It's worth noting that the compact is actually refillable but unfortunately the refill powder isn't as widely available as the full-sized product.
Infused with hydrating wild pansy flower extract, refining rose extract, and antioxidant iris extract, the Diorskin Forever Perfect Matte Powder has a silky smooth formulation that provides a decent amount of coverage. When applied with the flocked side of the sponge, I can achieve a medium coverage. The powder has a true matte finish and while it definitely blurs skin textures, there is noticeable settling into the pores and patching/caking around dry patches and around the nose. This could potentially be resolved with a good primer but I feel that on days I opt for a powder foundations, I'm also too lazy to bother with a primer. With that said, there is minimal settling and caking when I apply the powder with a brush but the coverage is sheerer.
I have swatched here the shades "
1N Fair" and "
2N Light", both of which work well for my skin tone. Overall, I feel that the Diorskin Forever Perfect Matte Powder Foundation is a decent powder foundation with a surprisingly good coverage. However, the formulation is not perfect and will require a good primer to ensure a flawless finish.
