Housed in a glass bottle that dispenses from a glass dropper, the Perfect Renew Youth Serum is formulated with ginger root extract, an amino acid complex, and a super berry complex. Although low on silicone (ninth ingredient), the serum does contain a fair amount of alcohol (fourth ingredient), which may be sensitizing to some. With a runny, slightly viscous texture and a very light floral fragrance, the serum spreads easily on the skin and absorbs quickly, leaving behind only a slightly tacky, dewy texture. The formulation doesn't feel greasy or heavy; it creates a smooth finish that helps heavier moisturizers glide better on the skin. In terms of efficacy, the LANEIGE Perfect Renew Youth Serum felt very lackluster. I've tried a lot of serums and most of them provide at least some minor improvements to the skin, whether that be a boost of radiance or a smoother, softer texture to the skin. However, whatever effect the Perfect Renew Youth Serum had (other than boosting hydration), it is very subtle as I really did not notice any visible difference after using this for about a month. There's a chance that with all the skincare focus I've been putting in over the years I've achieved my optimal skin but it's more likely that the serum is just not really my cup of tea. Therefore, I can't really recommend this if you are looking for dramatic improvements in your skin. For some truly anti-aging serums, I would recommend checking out the
