Housed in a small jar topped with the easily recognizable top hat-shaped cap, the Aqua Bomb Overnight Lip Mask is formulated with calming Cica extract and nourishing shea butter. The formulation has a very thick, vaseline-like texture so I do wish that it was packaged in a squeeze tube or at least came with a spatula applicator. However, once the mask makes contact with the lips, it softens a bit, making it easier to spread. The formulation instantly forms a protective film on the lips that hydrates and soothes. The finish is a bit tacky so I wouldn't recommend it for anything but overnight use. In the morning, my lips feel so much smoother and softer, even if I started the night with peeling, cracked lips. Overall, this is a really rich and nourishing lip mask. It's a bit thick and sticky but it does stay on better than your typical liquid lip balm, providing long-lasting hydration that's great for very dry lips during the winter!
