Inkey List | Clean & Affordable Haircare: Review
Earlier this year I was introduced the affordable, clean beauty brand The INKEY List. Dubbed by many as the new DECIEM, The INKEY List has a quickly reached the top of many bestsellers list thanks to its simple, ingredient-driven formulations and amazing price range. I recently tested out a few of their new haircare products and wanted to share with you my thoughts. To read my reviews, click......

The INKEY List | Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Treatment (C$18.99 for 150 ml):
Housed in a plastic bottle with a precise nozzle tip applicator, this is a liquid scalp treatment formulated with 2% salicylic acid to exfoliate dead skin cells and reduce oiliness. With a very runny formulation, the treatment was extremely tricky to apply. More of it landed on my face and shoulders than on my scalp. Perhaps the product would be easier to apply if you had short hair but with long hair like mine, it was very difficult to get the treatment onto the scalp through all the hair. Had the treatment been more viscous, it would probably work better.

The INKEY List | Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Treatment & Shea Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment
The INKEY List | Shea Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment (C$9.99 for 100 ml):
A lightweight oil made with a combination of shea and jojoba oil, this is a nourishing treatment designed to condition the hair and add shine. The formulation is a thin liquid and a little goes a long way. I would not recommend it to those with thin hair and oily scalp but for those with dry, curly hair, the Shea Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment is a nice treat!

The INKEY List | PCA Bond Repair Treatment (C$14.99 for 100 ml):
Housed in a spray bottle, the PCA Bond Repair is formulated with pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA), hydrolyzed pea protein, aloe juice, and black oats polysaccharides to repair and strengthen damaged hair. The formulation is a runny liquid and thanks to the fine mist applicator, it gets easily and evenly distributed onto the hair. The formulation does contain quite a bit of silicone so I would recommend using it sparingly to avoid build-up. With that said, the treatment definitely makes the hair feel smoother and stronger so I would recommend it to those with thin, treated hair!

The INKEY List | PCA Bond Repair Treatment & Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Hair Treatment
The INKEY List | Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Hair Treatment (C$11.99 for 100 ml):
Last but not least is the Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Hair Treatment. Formulated with high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid designed to hydrate and reduce frizz. With a slightly viscous, serum-like formulation, the treatment is easy to spread and it makes the hair feel smooth and conditioned. I love using this before blow-drying the hair to avoid dryness. In my opinion, this is definitely the best product from the INKEY List line-up. Given the affordable price, it's a must-try!
