Dior and this year the brand is paying homage to the iconic House of Dior at 30 Avenue Montaigne. Featuring a beautiful array of colors for the eyes, lips, and nails,
The Atelier of Dreams Collection is available now for a limited time. I've got reviews and swatches of all the goodies to share with you today. To check them out, click......
Dior | Holiday 2021 The Atelier of Dreams 5-Couleurs Couture Eyeshadow Palette (C$76 for 7.6 g):Available in two color schemes, The Ateliers of Dreams 5-Couleurs Couture Palette features an intricate design inspired by 30 Avenue Montaigne, the House of Dior landmark. "
469 Atelier Doré" includes a soft golden shimmer, a matte dark brown, a satin dark taupe, a sandy golden shimmer, and a satin light taupe. All five shades are creamy and pigmented. The colors are super neutral and easy to wear, great for every day, not just the holidays.
"
739 House of Dreams" features a metallic silver, a medium matte brown, a satin creamy taupe, a shimmery champagne brown, and a soft sandy brown. I'm a little disappointed in this palette, not because the formulation is not as good as the other palette but because the colors are a bit too similar to each other. The three light browns look distinct in the palette but appear pretty much identical when swatched on the skin. The silver, however, is stunning; it's super pigmented with an almost foil-like quality.
Dior | Holiday 2021 The Atelier of Dreams Rouge Dior Lipstick (C$50 for 3.5 g):With a limited-edition refillable packaging, the Holiday 2021 Rouge Dior Lipstick is embossed with the House of Dior facade on the outside. Five shades are available and I have here "
466 Pink Rose". It is a pearlescent warm pink with a hint of shimmer. The formulation is semi-sheer but buildable; the finish is moisturizing and it has a natural, flattering sheen.
My favorite lip color from this entire collection is the Rouge Dior Lipstick in "
858 Red Pansy". This is a deep, rich red with a pigmented and creamy formulation. The color has a satin matte finish that's nourishing and non-drying.
Dior | Holiday 2021 The Atelier of Dreams Rouge Diorific Lipstick (C$50 for 3.5 g):Packaged in a festive shiny gold packaging, the Diorific Lipstick this year is etched with the House of Dior facade all around the bullet. I have here three of the four limited-edition shades. "
074 Rose D'Hiver" is a dusty rose nude with a satin, almost metallic finish. The formulation is very creamy and pigmented.
"
075 Rouge Capucine" is a bold, medium red with an orange undertone. Similar to "074 Rose D'Hiver", the lipstick has a satin, almost metallic finish. The formulation is packed with color and it feels nourishing and comfortable on the lips.
"
076 Taupe Ispahan" is a muted brownish red with a natural satin finish. The formulation is smooth and creamy but the coverage is just a touch patchy.
Dior | Holiday 2021 The Atelier of Dreams Diorific Vernis (C$36 for 12 ml):There are three new nail colors in this year's holiday collection, housed in the signature golden bauble packaging. "
01Bouton D'Or" is a pretty glitter topper. The clear base is suspended with silver, gold, and copper sparkles. It can be worn alone or over a base color.
"
992 Corolle" is a dark oxblood burgundy; the formulation is decently pigmented but the finish is a tad patchy. I used two coats for the swatches below but a third coat would have provided a more opaque finish.
Last but not least is "
862 Poppy"; it is a bright red cream with a smooth and pigmented formulation.
