OPI has released its first natural origin nail lacquer called the
Nature Strong Collection. With a formulation of 75% natural origin, the Nature Strong Nail Lacquer is vegan and "9-free" (no formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, xylene, dibutyl phthalate, camphor, parabens, ethyl tosylamide, or triphenyl phosphate), without compromising color, shine, or wear. A Bloom with a View:A medium red with a hint of pink, A Bloom with a View is pigmented and easy to work with. The Nature Strong formulation is indistinguishable from the original OPI formulation, as far as I can tell. This makes me wonder just how different this new lineup really is and whether or not it's really just clever marketing.

Knowlege is Flower:This is a slightly muted petal pink. The formulation is surprisingly pigmented with two coats providing a very opaque coverage.

A Clay in the Life:A soft creamy nude, A Clay in the Life is unfortunately sheer and runny. I used two coats for the swatches below but the finish is not fully even or opaque.

Achieve Grapeness:One of my faves from the six shades I have here, Achieve Grapeness is a mesmerizing soft purple with an iridescent sheen. The formulation is definitely not as opaque as the red or the petal pink but two coats still provide a nice and even coverage.

Intentions are Rose Gold:Another stunner is this beautiful rose gold shimmer. The formulation is well-packed with the shimmer particles, providing a smooth and even coverage in two coats.

Onyx Skies:A simple black, Onyx Skies is rich and smooth. The pigmentation is very intense, making it perfect for nail art and stamping. Two coats provide a fully opaque and even coverage.
