Dior Summer 2021 | Summer Dune 5 Couleurs Couture Eyeshadow Palette (C$76 for 4 g):Available in two color palettes, the Dior Summer Dune 5 Couleurs Couture Eyeshadow Palette features a mesmerizing sand ripple design on the pressed powder shadows. Some of the colors are visibly marbled but they provide a consistent, even coloration. The two palettes look quite similar as they are both inspired by the colors of the desert and all the shadows have a sparkly shimmery finish.

759 Dune" (swatched above) features a pale champagne gold, a warm golden yellow, a copper gold, a burnt orange, and a light bronze. "
699 Mirage" (swatched below) on the other hand features a soft golden nude, a light copper gold, a warm copper brown, a pinkish soft orange, and a medium neutral brown. All five shades in the "699 Mirage" palette features a subtle, dreamy pinkish sheen. All the shades from both palettes have a silky, finely-milled formulation that's pigmented and easy to blend.
Dior Summer 20201 | Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Waterproof Mascara (C$37 for 6 g):Believe it or not, I've never tried the original Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Mascara so this new waterproof version is my first experience with this fan favorite. Featuring a slightly curved bristle applicator which I wish had a more tapered tip for reaching the inner and outer corner, the Iconic Overcurl Waterproof Mascara promises "XXL volume" and hold. The formulation goes on fairly smoothly at first but it doesn't add a whole lot of volume. Unfortunately, when I try to go in for a few more swipes, things get a bit clumpy. I recently got a lash lift so it's hard for me to attest to the holding power. The formulation is definitely waterproof but I find that there's noticeable flaking throughout the day so this is regrettably not a mascara that I personally would recommend.

016 Shimmer Nude" is a soft sheer beige packaged with fine iridescent shimmers. The formulation is lightweight and slightly tacky. The gloss gives the lips a nice shine but in this age of the pandemic, it's hard to incorporate a lipgloss with all our mask-wearing.
Dior Summer 2021 | Forever Perfect Fix Setting Spray (C$52 for 100 ml):One of the few setting sprays Dior has ever released, the Forever Perfect Fix is a hydrating setting spray infused with wild pansy extract. I've not worn makeup since the start of the pandemic so I've not had a chance to give this a test drive but I can comment that the spray nozzle on the bottle is one of the best I've tried. The mist that comes out is super fine, preventing any patching that results from large droplets.
