Recently I was introduced to a new-to-me skincare brand Alumier MD. Created by a team of scientists and physicians that aim to create cutting-edge, medical-grade skincare, Alumier MD offers a wide range of products made with clean, cruelty-free ingredients. I tested out a couple of the brand's key products, the Eye Rescue Pads and the AluminEye Brightening Eye Cream and wanted to share with you my thoughts. To read on, click......

Alumier MD | Eye Rescue Pads (4 x 6g):
Available as a pack of four, the Eye Rescue Pads are pampering gel pads designed to depuff and smooth the eye area. Formulated with line-reducing MATRIXYL® Synthe'6®, brightening niacinamide and vitamin C, and moisturizing vitamin B5, the gel pads feel instantly hydrating and refreshing around the eye area. The eye pads are generously-sized but I find that they don't hold a lot of serum, especially the center part where it's extra-thin. I'm not sure which ingredients of the eye pads I have sensitivities to but I experienced some noticeable stinging and swelling after use. This is not the first time this has happened to me with eye patches so I'm not putting any blame on Alumier MD. However, I would advise carefully scanning the ingredient list when shopping for eye masks as the eye area is extra sensitive.

Alumier MD | AluminEye Brightening Eye Cream (15 ml):
Housed in a twist-to-reveal pump bottle, the AluminEye Brightening Eye Cream is a lightweight eye cream formulated with depuffing patented peptides, hydrating tremella mushroom extract, nourishing murumuru butter, and brightening vitamin C. The eye cream also contains light-reflecting particles that provide a soft-focus effect that immediately smooths and brightens the eye area. Free of artificial fragrances, the formulation blends beautifully without migrating into the eyes and it leaves behind no greasy, icky residue. Even though the eye cream contains silicone, it layers wonderfully with other skincare without causing pilling or patching. Overall, this is a wonderful eye cream that's hydrating and brightening, great for looking for something lightweight yet effective.
