Recently, I was introduced to the Loewe fragrance collection, available at Holt Renfrew in Canada. Well known for its leather goods, Loewe is a Spanish fashion house that also offers a curated range of luxury fragrances. Launched in 2016, Loewe 001 Woman Eau de Toilette (C$174 for 100 ml) is described as a "warm, tender, and sensual" scent inspired by "the morning after the night before". The Bottle:

Loewe 001 Woman is housed in a clear rectangular bottle adorned with a minimalist label. The wooden cap is embossed with the "4 L" Loewe logo, adding a nice finish to the simple and modern packaging.

The Scent:

Opening on a zesty note of bergamot and tangerine, Loewe 001 Woman quickly mellows to reveal its warm heart and base notes. The fragrance fares well both in terms of sillage and longevity. The scent is very cozy and comforting, perfectly balancing the sweet vanilla and warm sandalwood. Frankly, this is not the most original or innovative fragrance I've tried. However, it's an easy, crowd-pleasing sweet woody scent perfect for the fall and wintertime. 

Top Notes: Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Tangerine. 

Heart Notes: Sandalwood, Egyptian Jasmine, Linen Chord. 

Base Notes: Musk, Vanilla, Amber.
