I thought that this is a new release from Biossance, but the Squalane + Glycolic Renewal Mask is simply a repackaging of the Squalane + Glycolic Renewal Facial (reviewed here) initially released several years back. Instead of a round jar, the Squalane + Glycolic Renewal Mask comes in a more convenient squeeze tube. Made with a melange of different AHAs (glycolic, lactic, tartaric, and malic acids), the mask has a soft cream formulation jazzed up with a dash of fine mineral spheres. The formulation feels quite concentrated so it's best to start slow if you are new to AHAs. The mask leaves the skin super soft and renewed, so it's great for those that want a smoother, more radiant complexion. Check out my original full review of the mask here.

Designed to target dullness, uneven skin textures, and dark spots, the Squalane + Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum from Biossance comes in a sleek pump bottle. Containing 10% vitamin C that brightens and firms, white shittake mushroom and licorice root extract that targets dark spots, the serum has a lightweight texture that easily spreads and blends. The formulation is lightly hydrating and leaves the skin feeling smooth, non-sticky, non-greasy, and it layers well with other skincare products. Of all of the vitamin C serums I've tried so far (and I've tried quite a few), this definitely ranks high thanks to its clean ingredients and lightweight consistency.
