Housed in a tinted glass bottle that protects the serum from UV degradation, the Youth To The People 15% Vitamin C + Clean Caffeine Energy Serum is formulated with three different types of vitamin C to brighten, plant-derived caffeine (from yerba mate and guayusa) to depuff, squalane to nourish, and passion fruit and dragon fruit for their antioxidant benefits. With no discernable scent, the serum is super lightweight and quick to absorb, it leaves behind no sticky or greasy residue and layers wonderfully with toners, moisturizers, and other serums. The serum is lightly hydrating as well but a rich and nourishing cream is a must as a follow-up, especially in the winter months. I've noticed a subtle brightening effect after a few uses so the serum definitely provides a boost of glow. Overall, this is a lovely vitamin C serum. The price feels a bit steep but the ingredients are super clean and the texture is lightweight and easy to layer.
