Laura Mercier | Holiday 2020 Prima Ballerina Mini Eyeshadow Palette (C$42 for 6 x 1.5 g):Housed in an elegant, rose-colored palette filled with six wintery shadows, the Prima Ballerina Mini Eyeshadow Palette is more like a regular-sized palette given its dimensions of the packaging and the weight of the shadows. Formulated with dimethicone crosspolymer, glycerin, and hyaluronic acid, the eyeshadows have a silky, bouncy, and almost putty-like cream texture. There are two sparkles, three shimmers, and one matte. All six shades are well pigmented and easy to blend. This is actually one of my favorite holiday palettes this season so I would definitely recommend checking it out if you like soft, cool-tone shadows.
Allegro: This is a pearly white sparkle. There's not a lot of base pigment so the shadow works best as a glitter topper.
Entrelacé: This is a sparkly coppery rose. The color is very fun and pigmented.
Cabriole: A simple cream pink, Carbiole is nicely pigmented despite its matte finish.
Plié: My favorite from the six, Plié is a stunning mauve shimmer. The color is shiny and pigmented.
Adagio: A silvery taupe, Adagio is super rich and intense.
Balançoire: This is a dark shimmery brown, it pairs beautifully with the previous two shades.
A limited-edition, over-sized version of Laura Mercier's beloved Face Illuminator Highlighting Powder, the Rose Pirouette Highlighting Palette comes in an exquisite round compact embossed with a textured ribbon design. The highlighter appears as a shimmery rose bronze in the pan but applies very differently. The formulation is silky smooth with a sheer and subtle pigmentation, giving the skin a sophisticated rose gold sheen. The shimmer is somewhat buildable but the Rose Pirouette Highlighting Palette is definitely designed for those that prefer a natural illuminator. I love a good subtle highlighter so this one is right up my alley!
Laura Mercier | Holiday 2020 Set To Glow Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow & Brush Set (C$51 for 29 g):Another highlighter option from the Holiday 2020 Ballet à Paris Collection is the Set to Glow Translucent Loose Setting Powder Glow & Brush Set. Featuring a full-sized version of the Translucent Loose Setting Powder in "Translucent Glow" and a bonus, travel-sized brush applicator, the set comes in an adorable, gift-ready pink box. This is my first time trying out the Translucent Loose Setting Powder in the radiant finish and I totally fell in love with its subtle, finely-milled finish. The Translucent Glow formulation gives the skin a beautiful ethereal sheen; there's just the right amount of sparkle and shine that you can lightly dust it over the entire face and decolletage area.
Laura Mercier | Holiday 2020 The Perfect Cream & Eye Cream Set (C$110 for 50 g and 15 g):Last but not least is this skincare duo featuring full-sized versions of the Laura Mercier The Perfect Cream Multi-Tasking Moisturizer and the Illuminating Eye Cream Brightening Eye Cream. I have to admit that when it comes to Laura Mercier skincare, I'm a complete novice so I will give these a try and come back with a full review in the future to share with y'all. However, if you already know and love both of these products, getting this value set will save you C$54!
