CND | Holiday 2020 Cocktail Couture Collection: Review and Swatches

I wanted to quickly hop on today to share with you some gorgeous nail polishes from CND. These arrived quite late on my doorsteps this year but the shades are so gorgeous that I can't not share them. How Merlot:

This is a rich berry pink. The formulation is slightly sheer so I ended up using three coats to attain a smooth and opaque finish.

Devil Red:

A rich true red, Devil Red is deliciously creamy and pigmented. I used two coats for the swatches below.

Bordeaux Babe:

A gorgeous wine red, Bordeaux Babe suffers the same problem as How Merlot. The formulation is on the sheerer side so the finish is a touch patchy. I used two coats for the swatches below but as you can see, the finish could have benefited from another coat.

Get That Gold:

A striking pale champagne metallic shimmer, Get That Gold is nicely pigmented and easy to work with. I use two coats for the swatches below.

Drama Queen:

A plummy magenta, Drama Queen is packed with silver and pink shimmers. The formulation is smooth and pigmented so two coats provide a nice and even finish.

She's A Gem!:

Hands down my favorite of the batch, She's A Gem! is a stunning rich teal packed with silver shimmers. The formulation is a dream to work with. I use two coats for the swatches below.
