Housed in an elegant glass bottle, the Rose Deep Hydration Oil-Infused Serum is formulated with damask rose water, damask rose extract, damask rose oil, plant-derived squalane, camelina seed oil, cucumber extract, and vitamin E. With two distinct phases, the serum mixes to a very runny, toner-like consistency with a subtle, natural floral scent. The serum applies evenly and absorbs quickly with zero sticky or oily residue. Because the formulation feels more like a toner, I actually use it directly on cleansed skin, followed by a more traditional serum and then a moisturizer.
Similar to the brand's Rose Deep Hydration Facial Toner (reviewed
here), the Rose Deep Hydration Oil-Infused Serum delivers a shot of hydration that results in a more healthy complexion. Additionally, because the serum also contains an oil phase, it nourishes as well as hydrates. Given its watery consistency, this is definitely not your typical serum but more of a serum-toner hybrid. However, because it's so lightweight, I think it would benefit all skin types, especially oily and combination. Overall, this is another hit from Fresh (no surprise here)! If you are looking to update your skincare routine with a boost of hydration, this is definitely worth checking out!
