Gala Girl:This is a classic soft beige nude. As is the case with most of the other shades, the formulation is smooth and nicely pigmented; however, the polish requires three coats to achieve an opaque coverage, mostly because it dries very "flat", highlighting textural imperfections on the nails. Therefore, I recommend using a base coat or ridge filler with this collection.

Sweet Cider:A soft nude brown, Sweet Cider has a smooth and creamy consistency. The color is a bit more pigmented than Gala Girl. Although you can get away with two coats, I used three to ensure a completely even coverage.

Fuji Love:A gorgeous smoky mauve, Fuji Love is nicely pigmented and smooth. You can probably get away with two coats but similar to the others, the finish really hugs the ridges on the nails so I used three coats to ensure a smooth and opaque coverage.

Pacific Rose:A soft baby pink, Pacific Rose is probably the least inspiring shade from this collection. The formulation is decently pigmented but still required three coats for an even and opaque coverage.

Crisp Green:I have a soft spot for green polishes and Crisp Green is just the right shade of bright apple green. The formulation is definitely sheerer than some of the previous shades but the consistency is still very smooth and easy to work with. I used three coats to achieve a nice and opaque coverage.

Cherry Apple:No fall collection is complete without your classic oxblood red. Cherry Apple is creamy smooth but sheer. I used three coats for the swatches below. Compared to other oxblood red polishes I've tried in the past, this may just be my favorite as it has the perfect touch of vamp so it's not too dark as to lose the red!

Overall, this is a wonderful collection with some really flattering shades. The formulation is definitely interesting because although most of these colors are quite pigmented, the coverage is not great as the finish really highlights textural imperfections. Therefore, this is definitely a collection that requires a good base coat that provides a smooth foundation for application.
