Dior Summer 2020 | 5 Couleurs Color Games Eyeshadow Palette in "287 Dive" |
Dior Summer 2020 | 5 Couleurs Color Games Eyeshadow Palette (C$72 for 5 g):
Available in two fun and summery color schemes, the 5 Couleurs Color Games Eyeshadow Palette comes in the classic black and silver Dior compact and the five powders are embossed with intertwined letters of Dior. I have here "287 Dive", a cool tone palette featuring five shimmery shades: a bold azure, a bright magenta, a pale icy blue, a soft peach nude, and a rich eggplant purple. All five shades are silky and nicely-pigmented. The colors are definitely bold so in my opinion, this is more of a collector's palette than an everyday palette.

Dior Summer 2020 | Diorshow Colour & Contour Eyeshadow & Liner Duo |
Dior Summer 2020 | Diorshow Colour & Contour Eyeshadow & Liner Duo (C$38 for 1.1 g):
This is a dual-ended twist-up and retractable crayon with an eyeshadow stick on one end and a pencil liner on the other. The formulation for both the pencil and the shadow is pigmented, smooth, and easy to apply. Best of all, the colors set to a long-lasting finish that's smudge-proof and waterproof. "001 Gold/Blue" features a metallic royal blue liner and a muted peachy gold shimmery shadow while "002 Brown/Peach" features a metallic taupe brown liner and a soft golden pink shimmery shadow.

Dior Summer 2020 | Rouge Blush Powder Blush in "431 Peach Volley" |
Dior Summer 2020 | Rouge Blush Color Games Powder Blush ($54 for 5 g):
Available in two shades, this limited-edition Rouge Blush features a bold graphic design pressed into the powder and comes with a mini blush brush. The shade "431 Peach Volley" is a very pretty and fresh sheer peach. The formulation contains a subtle dash of iridescence and while the color is buildable, the finish has a wonderful translucency that still lets your natural complexion show.

Dior Summer 2020 | Diorskin Mineral Nude Bronzing Powder in "02 Warm Flame" |
Dior Summer 2020 | Diorskin Mineral Nude Bronze Color Games Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder (C$60 for 10 g):
Adorned with the same intertwined Dior logo as that of the eyeshadow palette and blush, the Diorskin Mineral Nude Bronzing Powder features a pigmented and buttery soft formulation that blends seamlessly on the skin. "02 Warm Flame" features a shimmer-free deep bronze and medium tan that blends to form a fairly dark but neutral tan that's suitable for a medium skin tones. Lastly, it's worth noting that the bronzer has a very nice floral scent.

Dior Summer 2020 | Dior Addict Lip Tattoo
|
Dior Summer 2020 | Dior Addict Lip Tattoo Long-Wear Colored Tint (C$39 for 6 ml):
Available in two limited edition shades for Summer 2020, the Dior Addict Lip Tattoo is a lightweight liquid-gel lip tint that provides a hydrating stain. Initially released in 2017 (see my original review
here), the Lip Tattoo has been making a come back with every summer Dior makeup collection. Honestly, I'm not a fan of the formulation and wish that Dior would introduce something new because although the Lip Tattoo is very comfortable and refreshing on the lips, the color is too high-maintenance. Both shades apply smoothly but the finish gets an odd, milky residue as soon as I press my upper and lower lips together. And because the formulation is water-based, the color significantly fades with any eating and drinking. This in itself is not a deal-breaker but it's the way that the stain fades that's a big problem. Instead of wearing off in an even fashion, the color fades in patches, leaving behind a particularly strong, unattractive ring of color on the inner rim of the lips. Therefore, despite how pretty they look, I just don't think they are worth the effort.

Dior Summer 2020 | Dior Addict Lip Tattoo in "621 Natural Almond" & "571 Natural Cranberry"
|
571 Natural Cranberry: This is a beautiful berry rose with a nice and strong pigmentation. Unfortunately, the color becomes oddly dull and milky as soon as the surface of the finish is disturbed (either through eating or drinking or simply by pressing the the upper and lower lips together).
Available in three limited-edition shades, the Summer 2020 Dior Vernis Color Games Nail Lacquer actually features a bergamot scented formulation. The nail polish still has your typical pungent chemical smell during application but when the formulation completely dries, it gives off a very soft and sweet citrus scent. "
120 Ready" is a soft pastel yellow, "
208 Set" is a pretty light teal, and "
230 Go" is a juicy bright orange. All three shades have a subtle scattering of iridescent shimmers and while not super pigmented, the formulation is pretty smooth and even. With a skillful application, you can probably get away with just two coats but I had to use three to ensure a smooth and even coverage.
