Recently, both the cult-favorite Pillow Talk and Walk of No Shame (formerly Walk of Shame) family saw the introduction of new members:
Charlotte's Jewel Lips (C$36), a sparkly everyday gloss, and
Charlotte's Jewel Pots (C$40), a stunning shimmery cream shadow. I've got reviews and swatches of both to share with you today. To read on, click......
Also available in a pretty rosy pink called "Walk of No Shame", the new Charlotte's Jewel Lips is a hydrating lip gloss packed with plumping hyaluronic acid and nourishing vitamin E. "Pillow Talk" is a soft rosy nude packed with shimmery and sparkly diamond and pearl powder. The formulation is lightweight and although the finish is very shiny, it's not the most non-sticky gloss I've tried. The shade is fairly sheer so your natural lip color will still shine through. Charlotte Tilbury claims that the gloss lasts up to seven hours but I find that it really lasts around three to four, depending on how much eating and drinking you do in that time period.
Housed in a clear plastic jar topped with a glitter-adorned, multi-faceted cap, Charlotte's Jewel Pots is a powder-cream eyeshadow available in the popular "Walk of No Shame" shade (formerly "Walk of Shame"). The color is lighter than I expected; it's a beautiful coppery rose gold packed with super fine reflective iridescent shimmers. The formulation is pigmented, silky, and buttery smooth; it blends flawlessly on the lid and works well as an all-over shade for those looking for an easy but glam look. The $40 price tag is pretty hefty but boy is it pretty!
