Clarins | Fresh Scrub, Comfort Scrub & Pure Scrub: Review
New for Spring 2020, Clarins has released a trio of face scrubs designed for different skin types. With cellulose beads and a creamy texture, the Fresh Scrub is great for sensitive to normal skin. Made with sugar crystals and mango butter, the Comfort Scrub is intended for dry skin. With lava beads and alpine willow herb, the Pure Scrub is made for oily, combination skin. I've got details and reviews of all three masks to share with you today. To read on, click......
Clarins | Fresh Scrub: Review
Clarins | Fresh Scrub
Clarins | Fresh Scrub (C$29 for 50 ml):
Dispersed with wood-derived cellulose beads of two different sizes that exfoliate and polish, the Clarins Fresh Scrub is a cream scrub with a light floral fragrance. The texture is moderately scrubby and the smooth cream glides nicely on the skin without creating any lather. The formulation is fairly gentle but it's still effective at removing dead skin cells, leaving the skin refreshed and softened. My only dislike here is the subtle residue left behind. It's not greasy but a little slippery that makes me want to follow up the scrub with a cleanser.

Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Cellulose, Squalane, Butylene Glycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Propanediol, Glycerin, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/Vp Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Tromethamine, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/ Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Parfum/Fragrance, Ethylhexylglycerin, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Disodium EDTA, Kalanchoe Pinnata Leaf Extract, Biosaccharide Gum-4, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Ci 42090/Blue 1.

Clarins | Comfort Scrub
Clarins | Comfort Scrub (C$29 for 50 ml):
Designed for dry and sensitive skin, this is a vanilla-scented sugar scrub formulated with nourishing squalane and mango butter. As compared to the other two scrubs, the formulation is much gentler. The sugar crystals start to melt upon contact with the skin so it only provides a soft exfoliation. Similar to the Fresh Scrub, the Comfort Scrub leaves behind a bit of a residue, which I don't love. However, if you have dry skin, the scrub not only provides exfoliation but also quite a bit of conditioning and moisturization.

Ingredients: Squalane, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Sucrose Laurate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Propanediol, Sucrose, Aqua/Water/Eau, Sucrose Stearate, Octyldodecanol, Irvingia Gabonensis (Wild Mango) Kernel Butter, Hydrogenated Coco-Glycerides, Disodium Edta, Parfum/ Fragrance, Capsicum Annuum (Pepper) Fruit Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract.

Clarins | Pure Scrub
Clarins | Pure Scrub (C$29 for 50 ml):
Last but not least is the Pure Scrub.  Made with volcanic beads that provide an effective but gentle exfoliation, the Pure Scrub also contains alpine willow herb extract that tightens pores. The formulation has a refreshing floral fragrance and it leaves the skin smooth and clean. Unlike the other two scrubs, the Pure Scrub provides a bit of lather and doesn't leave behind a slick residue, so it can be used in place of a cleanser. If you are looking for a scrubby scrub, this is the one!

Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Cellulose, Decyl Glucoside, Glycerin, Sodium Lauryl Glucose Carboxylate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Lauryl Glucoside, Sodium Cocoyl Amino Acids, Acrylates/ C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Pumice, Xanthan Gum, Hexylene Glycol, Parfum/ Fragrance, Chlorphenesin, Sorbic Acid, Disodium Edta, Sodium Hydroxide, Epilobium Fleischeri (Alpine Willow Herb) Extract, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Ci 19140/ Yellow 5, Ci 42090/Blue 1.
