Mary Kay | Spring 2020 Beauty Unearthed Perfect Palette (C$21) and Illuminating Bronzer (C$22 for 2.5 g):
For Spring 2020, Mary Kay has released a new limited edition unfilled palette called the Beauty Unearthed Perfect Palette. With a cool geometric design on the lid, the inside features a magnetic insert that holds two cheek powder refills from Mary Kay. Sold separately are two new highlighter bronzer refills that are also available for a limited time only.

With swirls of champagne shimmer, "
Gilded Glow" is a soft neutral bronze with a subtle sparkly finish. With a combination of warm golden shimmers, "
Copper Glow" is a deeper bronze with a hint of shimmers. Both shades are smooth and silky. The pigmentation isn't very intense so the colors are easy to apply without going overboard.

Available in four celestial-inspired shades, the new Liquid Eyeshadow features a creamy formulation packed to the brim with sophisticated shimmers. The blendable shadows provide a buildable coverage and the finish is smudge-proof. "
Light Beam" is a light champagne shimmer, "
Meteor Shower" is a grayish taupe shimmer, "
Purple Nova" is a deep eggplant purple, and "
Pink Starlight" is a dusty light pink shimmer.

Mary Kay | Spring 2020 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner (C$20 for 1.5 g):
With a quick-drying formulation that's completely waterproof, this new black liquid eyeliner features a tapered felt-tip applicator. With a fairly stiff and clumsy design, the felt-tip is not very easy to use. I had a lot of trouble drawing a sharp wing, so this is definitely a drawback. The formulation is inky and pigmented and once set, it's completely smudge-proof. When exposed to water, the liner doesn't bleed or run but it will flake when rubbed. Therefore, the formulation is waterproof but easy to remove. Overall, I like the formulation of the liner but the packaging design is a disappointment. If you don't mind a stiff felt-tip applicator, then this Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner may be worth a try.

Mary Kay | Spring 2020 Gel Semi-Matte Lipstick (C$21 for 3 g):
Four new shades have been added to popular Gel Semi-Matte Lipstick family. "
Blush Velvet" is a beautiful rose beige with a soft matte finish. The formulation is decently pigmented and creamy, buildable to a smooth and even coverage. "
Berry Famous" is a medium berry burgundy. This shade is rather patchy and the finish is surprisingly shiny.

Trademark Pink" is your quintessential Barbie pink. Similar to the berry, the finish is not super matte but the pigmentation is much better in comparison. Last but not least, "
Red Stiletto" is a beautiful bright red. The formulation is super pigmented but creamy and the finish is matte and comfortable. All four shades feel very lightweight and non-drying on the lips. The wear time varies depending on the shade but retouches are expected after eating to maintain a flawless coverage.
