Last year, Givenchy expanded its complexion lineup with the Teint Couture Everwear 24H Wear & Comfort Foundation (C$68 for 30 ml) that promises coverage, longevity, and comfort. I finally got a chance to try it recently so I wanted to share with you my thoughts on the formulation and performance. Packaging:
The Teint Couture Everwear 24H Foundation comes in a beautiful glass bottle equipped with a pump dispenser. The cap has a reflective silver finish and the neck of the bottle features a studded design that's very in line with the Givenchy aesthetic. One critique I have is that the cap doesn't close securely and gets easily knocked off so the packaging is not very travel-friendly.
Formulation:
With a fairly pigmented formulation, the Teint Couture Everwear 24H Foundation provides a medium-full coverage that's very buildable. The formulation provides SPF 20 and has a viscous but lightweight texture. Although easy to blend, the foundation sets quickly so it's hard to sheer things out. When it comes to foundation application, I generally like to start with a thin layer and build as I go to obtain the coverage I want. However, because the Teint Couture Everwear sets within seconds, it's hard to cover a large area with a small amount so I feel like I need more product than usual to even out my full face. The foundation is currently available in 30 shades; I have here four of them:
Y100: Pale ivory with a subtle yellow undertone.
P100: Pale ivory with a neutral undertone.
Y105: Light ivory with a subtle yellow undertone.
P105: Pale ivory with a very strong pink tint.
Availability:
Givenchy is available in stores and online at Sephora and Holt Renfrew.

Once set, the finish is fairly transfer-proof and it has a natural matte finish. As you can see in the before and after comparison photo, the foundation is very blurring and smoothing. There is minimal oxidation, creasing, or settling and as its name suggests, Teint Couture Everwear wears elegantly. I don't think I can get a 24-hour wear but the longevity is still very good. There's some shine after four hours but the foundation fades nicely. Other than minimal dryness between my brows, I didn't experience any settling or patching. This is a great foundation for those with normal to oily skin but the formulation may not be hydrating enough for dry skin. Overall, I'm a fan! If you are looking for a medium-to-full coverage liquid foundation that provides a flawless finish and comfortable wear, this is definitely worth checking out!
