Dior Spring 2020 | 5 Couleurs Glow Vibes Eyeshadow Palette in "167 Pink Vibrations" (C$74 for 6 g):
One of the two limited edition palettes introduced for Spring 2020, the 5 Couleurs Glow Vibes Eyeshadow Palette in "
167 Pink Vibrations" features a pale baby yellow, a sheer orange, a soft magenta, a sheer purple, and an icy lavender. The palette comes in the traditional black and silver case but each shade is pressed with an adorable musical design. All five colors have a shimmery satin finish and despite a sheer pigmentation, the formulation is silky and buildable.
Dior Spring 2020 | Backstage Rosy Glow Blush (C$49 for 4.6 g):
Available in two universal shades, the Backstage Rosy Glow Blush is a powder blush that gives the cheeks a youthful and natural flush. Exquisitely packaged in a travel-friendly compact, the Rosy Glow Blushes are pigmented and silky. Despite how light they appear in the pan, these blushes pack a punch so a little goes a long way. "001 Pink" is a satin pale baby pink infused with very subtle iridescent pink shimmers. "004 Coral" is a soft orange scattered with golden shimmers. Both shades are very flattering but I think "001 Pink" better suits cooler skin tones and "004 Coral" works better with warmer skin tones.
Dior Spring 2020 | Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil (C$45 for 6 ml):
A new addition to the Lip Glow family, the new Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil is a nourishing glossy liquid balm infused with cherry seed oil. Available in six shades, the Lip Glow Oil is packaged in a short and chubby lip gloss tube and equipped with a very large doe-foot applicator. With a soft minty vanilla scent, the formulation is quite thick and tacky so it feels more like a traditional gloss than a lip oil. In fact, the Lip Glow Oil feels thicker than the Dior Lip Maximizer glosses (reviewed
here).
The thicker formulation helps the shine last longer but it also feels quite heavy, especially for those that don't love glosses. With that said, I like how the Lip Glow Oil shades adjust to the pH of the lips to provide a very pretty and healthy pinkish hue. See below for a breakdown of the five shades I have here.
001 Pink: Appearing as a soft transparent pink, this shade is very sheer when first applied. However, it does turn more pink after a few minutes of wear.
006 Berry: The most intense of the bunch, "006 Berry" is sheer berry pink. If you like a more pigmented gloss, definitely get this one!
007 Raspberry: This is a transparent cool-tone pink that doesn't look too different from "001 Pink".
012 Rosewood: Appearing quite pigmented in the tube, "012 Rosewood" is a sheer rosy pink. Although sheerer than expected, this shade still provides a higher coverage than most of the other shades. As the color is quite close to my natural lip color, it makes my lips look extra smooth and plump.
015 Cherry: Despite appearing quite red and bright in the tube, "015 Cherry" applies very sheer. It's essentially indistinguishable from "001 Pink" and "007 Raspberry".
