Charlotte Tilbury | Lunar New Year Limited Edition Charlotte's Magic Cream (C$125 for 50 ml):
All dressed up in a festive red cap, the brand's best-selling Charlotte's Magic Cream is a multi-use moisturizer formulated with vitamin C, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, camellia oil, rosehip oil, shea butter, aloe vera, and various botanical extracts. The lightweight but ultra-hydrating formulation is great as a day moisturizer and it works wonderfully as a primer for fresh, glowing makeup.
Charlotte Tilbury | Lunar New Year Limited Edition Matte Revolution Lipstick in "Magic Red" (C$39 for 3.5 g):
Housed in a gorgeous red and rose gold limited edition tube, the Matte Revolution Lipstick in "
Magic Red" is a unique dark red with a strong pinkish undertone and a satin-matte finish. This shade was previously called "Shanghai Nights" and although the formulation is quite creamy and pigmented, the application is a touch patchy. It's difficult to build a very opaque coverage and whenever I press my lips together, the pigments bunch and transfer between the upper and lower lips. Therefore, I think this lipstick best pairs with a similarly colored lip liner.
