Omorovicza | Omoressence Essence: Review
Despite the beauty community's differing opinions on the necessity of using an essence, I personally enjoy incorporating one into my regular routine. So when I saw that the luxury Hungarian skincare brand Omorovicza offers their take in the form of Omoressence (C$125 for 100 ml), I knew I had to give it a try. Described as a "balancing and hydrating essence that prepares the skin for treatments", the Omoressence promises to attract moisture, combat environmental stressors,  improve elasticity, and support the skin's natural oil balance. So how well does it work? Read my review to find out......

Omorovicza | Omoressence
Housed in a glass bottle, the Omorovicza Omoressence is a hydrating essence with a watery texture and a soft floral scent. With a base of mineral-rich Hungarian thermal water, the Omoressence is infused with firming algae-derivative (methylsilanol mannuronate), replenishing amino acids, bacteria-fighting rhamnose polysaccharide, exfoliating lactic acid, and a hydrating combination of sodium PCA and sodium hyaluronate. I've once questioned the efficacy of toners and essences but have really gotten into the habit of incorporating them into my skincare routine. They aren't essential by any means but I expect them to condition the skin, boost hydration, and improve the absorption of serums and moisturizers.

For me, the Omoressence does all that. The formulation quickly absorbs and leaves behind no greasy residue. It helps other steps of my skincare glide more easily and provides an extra shot of hydration that comes especially handy in the daytime when I opt for a lighter moisturizer. The formulation reminds me a lot of the Fresh Black Tea Kombucha Essence, which is considerably cheaper at C$85 for 150 ml. However, as Omorovicza is a luxury skincare brand, the higher price tag is expected. Overall, if you love essences, this is must-try. The quality ingredients and the lovely texture makes it a joy to use!
