Mary Kay | Naturally Skincare Collection: Review
For Fall 2019, Mary Kay is expanding its skincare repertoire with a brand new collection inspired by nature. Free of parabens, phthalates, SLS/SLES, alcohol, silicones, dyes, synthetic fragrances, mineral oils, and GMOs, the Naturally Collection introduces a four-step routine. 100% Of the ingredients are derived from natural sources and the products are designed for all ages and skin types. I've got a detailed review of the collection to share with you today. To read on, click......

Mary Kay | Naturally Purifying Cleanser ($29 CAD for 127g):
With a creamy milky liquid consistency, the Naturally Purifying Cleanser is formulated with soothing aloe juice, calming cornflower water, nourishing shea butter, and softening sweet almond oil. The cleanser spreads nicely and it feels very gentle on the skin. The formulation doesn't lather much and while it will remove dirt and most face makeup, it won't completely melt away waterproof eye makeup. Lastly, the cleanser washes away nicely without leaving behind any greasy or icky residue. Overall, this is a great cream cleanser. The ingredients look great and the price is reasonable so it's definitely a recommendation for me.

Mary Kay | Naturally Exfoliating Powder ($39 CAD for 74 g):
No doubt my favorite item from the Naturally Collection, the Naturally Exfoliating Powder is a super fine, rice starch-based face scrub that can be mixed with water or oil (the Naturally Nourishing Oil below, for example). The formulation is gentle yet effective. It actually reminds me of a much more reasonably priced Tatcha Polished Rice Enzyme Powder (reviewed here), with the exception that the Mary Kay version doesn't foam. I personally prefer using it with the Naturally Purifying Cleanser as mixing with water or oil alone doesn't provide enough glide. The powder and cleanser work wonders together, giving the skin a silky smooth finish that doesn't cause any irritation!

Ingredients: Oryza Sativa (Rice) Starch, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Hydrated Silica, Crithmum Maritimum (Sea Fennel) Extract, Caprylic Triglyceride, Fragrance.

Mary Kay | Naturally Nourishing Oil ($55 CAD for 29 ml):
Housed in a glass jar with a glass dropper, the Naturally Nourishing Oil is a multi-purpose beauty oil formulated with oils of sweet almond, olive, sesame, and sunflower. Additionally, the oil also contains plant-derived squalane, which works as an additional emollient. The formulation is light and "dry", absorbing efficiently without leaving the skin too greasy. I'm not overly impressed with the ingredient list not because it's not "clean" or "natural" but because the oil selection is quite ordinary and relatively inexpensive as compared to the more precious and exotic oils found in most mid-range beauty oils. Given the price (which is comparable to the likes of the Kiehl's Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil and the Biossance Squalane + Tea Tree Oil), it didn't meet my expectations. However, this does not detract from the effectiveness of the Naturally Nourishing Oil. If you love Mary Kay and want a simple, lightweight face oil, this is still worth a try.

Ingredients: Caprylic Triglyceride, Isoamyl Cocoate, Squalane, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Fragrance, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit.
Mary Kay Naturally Nourishing Oil & Naturally Moisturizing Stick: Review
Mary Kay | Naturally Nourishing Oil & Naturally Moisturizing Stick
Mary Kay | Naturally Moisturizing Stick ($32 CAD for 10.8 g):
Last but not least from the Naturally Collection is the Naturally Moisturizing Stick. Formulated with squalane, beeswax, carnauba wax, and candelilla wax, this is essentially a solid balm that provides a nourishing barrier on the skin to prevent drying. The formulation is safe for use all over the body (i.e. face, lips, hands, cuticles, heels, knees, and elbows) but I personally don't like wax-based products on my face. Therefore, I've been using it exclusively on my hands and body. The travel-friendly, mess-free stick format actually makes this a really great hand balm. At work, I can simply rub the stick directly on the back of my hands to relieve dryness without greasing up my fingertips! For anyone that can't stand the icky feeling after applying hand cream, this is a must-have!

Ingredients: Squalane, Beeswax, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Octyldodecanol, Octyldodecyl Myristate, Jojoba Esters, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Wax, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Acacia Decurrens Flower Wax, Polyglycerine-3.
