The Clarins Everlasting Youth Fluid comes in a sturdy glass bottle paired with a pump dispenser. Due to Canadian SPF regulations, the foundation is not advertised to provide any SPF protection so the bottle is re-labelled with a rather ugly plastic wrapper which I tore off completely because I wanted to capture the packaging in its intended form. I personally really like the design here. The round, chubby bottle is super cute while the heavy, reflective lid provides an added touch of luxury.

Formulation:
In addition to the chicory extract and Jania seaweed extract, the Clarins Everlasting Youth Fluid is also formulated with argan oil, oat kernel extract, sodium hyaluronate, and tea leaf extract. With a light floral fragrance, the Everlasting Youth Fluid is creamy and easy to apply. There's minimal streaking and the coverage is buildable to full. Despite providing a very glowy and brightening effect, the finish of the foundation is not super dewy. I like how it feels instantly hydrating while giving the skin a smoother, more healthy appearance. I have here a couple of the lighter shades. "100 Lily" is a pale ivory with a pink undertone and "103 Ivory" is a true ivory with yellow undertones.

According to the ingredient list, the formulation also contains titanium dioxide (a physical sunscreen) for sun protection and on international markets, the foundation is advertised to provide an SPF of 15. However, due to the restrictive Canadian regulations on SPF, the same claim is not made in Canada.
Although I like just about everything with the Everlasting Youth Fluid, the wear is quite lackluster. I didn't experience any excessive shine or creasing but at the end of the day, there was significant fading. It appears that the formulation does not truly set so the pigments easily transfer from contact and general exposure to the elements. On my cheeks and the tip of my nose, in particular, there were barely any color left. What's left behind all settled into the pores, resulting in a rather unflattering finish. Overall, this is not the foundation for me. Perhaps it's my oily skin that it didn't jive with but I would not recommend it unless you have normal to dry skin.
