Clarins | Joli Blush ($33 CAD for 4.9 g):
Housed in an adorable round compact with a colored lid that reflects the shade inside, the Joli Blush is a powder blush that promises a uniform, long-lasting glow. Available in eight shades, the formulation is infused with calming hazelnut oil and green tea extract, along with a "special tint pigment". Interestingly, the formulation is rather sheer, which provides a natural, fool-proof application. With that said, the colors are buildable so you can easily adjust the intensity. I've long-loved the Blush Prodige from Clarins and although the Joli Blush formulation feels a bit more compacted as opposed to the softer, silkier texture of the Blush Prodige, the application and effect are right on par. It's worth noting, though, that unlike the Blush Prodige, the Joli Blush has a beautiful floral fragrance that's very similar to that of the Guerlain Meteorites powders. In terms of wear, these fared well but nothing extraordinary. There's gradual fading with time so by the end of a 12-hour day, most of the color will be gone.

I have here three of the eight shades. "
02 Cheeky Pink" is a fresh warm pink, "
03 Cheeky Rose" is a pretty rosy pink, and "
06 Cheeky Coral" is a light baby pink with a very subtle touch of coral. All three shades have a dash of iridescence but none of them are shimmery or sparkly. "02 Cheeky Coral" and "03 Cheeky Rose" are almost identical to each other while "06 Cheeky Coral" is super sheer.

Clarins | Intense Lip Perfector ($20 CAD for 12 ml):
Available in four new permanent shades, the Intense Lip Perfector is a spin on the bestselling Natural Lip Perfector from Clarins. Formulated with shea butter, the Intense Lip Perfector is a moisturizing lip gloss with a slightly more intense coverage as compared to the original. The texture is lightweight and non-sticky and the finish is plumping and shiny. Unfortunately, the wear time is short. The gloss fades easily with light eating and drinking.

Like the Natural Lip Perfectors, the Intense Lip Perfectors come in a squeezable plastic tube topped with a slanted flocked applicator. I have here two of the four shades. "
17 Intense Maple" is a natural dusty rose with a sprinkling of subtle, iridescent sparkles. The shade is very flattering, perfect for those looking for something neutral but still fresh and youthful. "
19 Intense Smoky Rose" is a warm rose nude; this is your quintessential "my lips but better" shade that gives a natural, plumping shine. Both shades go on super smoothly with minimal creasing or settling.

Clarins | Joli Rouge Lacquer Lipstick ($29 CAD for 3g):
Another new lip product for Fall from Clarins is the Joli Rouge Lacquer. Available in eight shades, this is a range of ultra-pigmented, balmy lipstick with a vinyl lacquer finish. The packaging is very pretty and differs noticeably from the other Joli Rouge lipsticks. Instead of an all-gold case, the lipstick has a colored cap that gives the illusion that the product is actually a lipgloss. It's worth noting that before first use, the lipstick bullet juts out just above the protective sheath so do take care when removing the cap to avoid nicking the tip. The shea and glasswort extract infused formulation is super slick and buttery. It goes on smoothly and provides an opaque coverage in just one swipe. Because of the hydrating, balmy finish, however, the lipsticks are prone to transferring and fading but the bolder shades do leave behind a soft tint.

I have here three of the eight shades. "
742L Joli Rouge" is a pink-based bold red, "
761L Spicy Chili" is a bright orange, and "
762L Pop Pink" is a rich hot pink scattered with iridescent fine shimmers that have a subtle lavender sheen. All three shades are incredibly pigmented; only a couple of swipes are needed to secure a full, opaque coverage.

I am loving all three of these new releases from Clarins! My personal recommendations are the Joli Blush in "03 Cheeky Rosy", the Intense Lip Perfector in "17 Intense Maple", and the Joli Rouge in "762L Pop Pink"!
