Charlotte Tilbury | Starry Eyes To Hypnotise Eyeshadow Palette

Packaging:
The Starry Eyes To Hypnotise Eyeshadow Palette comes in a slim rectangular blue compact with a subtle marbled glass finish. The lid is embossed with a radiating star in a fine silver shimmer and the inside of the palette has a touch of the signature Charlotte Tilbury rose gold shine. The palette is divided into four trios, with each designed to provide a complete eye look. Each eyeshadow is quite small, weighing at 0.63 g for a total of 7.5 g for all 12 shades.

Formulation:
Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadows are generally very silky and well-formulated but the Starry Eyes To Hypnotise Eyeshadow Palette feels particularly rich and pigmented. Most of the shades are shimmers or metallics so they are just dripping with color. The texture is super buttery and there is minimal fall-out. There are a few mattes in the mix as well and they are generally very smooth and non-chalky. I have a breakdown of all four trios from the palette below.

Happy Glow:
This is a fairly basic neutral trio with a warm gold metallic (Prime), a golden brown metallic (Enhance), and a matte medium warm brown (Smoke). All three shades are very nice and pigmented with the silky and pigmented matte being especially impressive.

Love Glow:
With shades reminiscent of that of the Charlotte Tilbury Walk of Shame Luxury Palette (reviewed here), this trio includes a pink champagne shimmer (Prime), a rich rose gold copper (Enhance), and a rich berry burgundy (Smoke). Similar to the Happy Glow Trio, all three shades are silky and pigmented. The rose gold, in particular, is incredibly creamy and pigmented.

Dream Glow:
This is a green-themed trio with a pale gold shimmer (Prime), a mossy khaki metallic (Enhance), and a deep khaki metallic (Smoke). Similar to all the previous shades, these three are smooth and pigmented.

Seduce Glow:
The sexiest trio of the palette, Seduce Glow offers an oyster champagne gold glitter (Prime), a bluish-gray metallic (Enhance), and a matte carbon black (Smoke). The glitter is very similar to the glittery "Pop" shades in the CT Luxury Palettes in that it's a bit sheer and patchy while the black feels drier than the previous two mattes. However, both shades are buildable to an even finish.

Overall, I'm definitely a fan of the Starry Eye To Hyptonise Eyeshadow Palette. I like that instead of offering 12 shades under one color scheme, the palette provides four distinct looks. The palette does lack a neutral blending or highlighter color so chances are you will need to supplement it with other eyeshadows/palettes in your collection. Additionally, for $95 CAD, the value of the Starry Eyes To Hypnotise palette is very good as the Luxury Palettes cost $66 CAD and they contain only four shades. The palette was available for only 24 hours mid-September as a presale so it's currently listed as out of stock on the Charlotte Tilbury website. So if you are interested, make sure to add your email to the waitlist to be alerted when the palette restocks.
