Following the launch of Coach the Fragrance back in 2016, several variations of the fragrance have made their appearances. For Summer 2019, Coach has an "audacious, bold, and colorful" take on the original called Coach Floral Blush Eau de Parfum ($96 CAD for 50 ml or $123 CAD for 90 CAD). The Bottle:
Similar to the original Coach The Fragrance, Coach Floral Blush Eau de Parfum is housed in a hefty oval bottle tinted with a pink ombre. The front is engraved with the classic horse-drawn carriage emblem and the spray nozzle features a turn-lock mechanism found on Coach bags. Lastly, the neck of the bottle is adorned with a piece of leather trimming attached to a silver hangtag and a leather tea rose charm.
The Scent:
Opening on sweet yet refreshing notes of goji berries and grapefruit, Coach Floral Blush is a lovely summer fragrance. The gorgeous peony and peach provide a feminine touch while the base notes of white wood and musk bring a nice soft warmth. In terms of longevity and sillage, Coach Floral Blush is a touch weak. However, given that it's a lighter scent, I don't mind reapplying throughout the day. The fragrance is in a similar vein as the original Coach The Fragrance so it's not a unique standout. However, the familiar fruity floral accord is a crowd-pleasing concoction that's perfect for both spring and summer. If you want something that's mouthwateringly delicious without being sugary sweet, definitely give this a spray!
