Housed in a frosted deep blue glass jar, the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream is a soft and creamy night cream formulated with nourishing shea butter, antioxidant-rich lotus extract, refreshing peach leaf extract, and a handful of other skin-loving botanical ingredients. Designed as the nighttime companion to the beloved Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Moisturizer (which I actually have not yet tried), the cream is super hydrating and smoothing. Because I've used so many products from Fresh by now, I've become accustomed to the brand's amazing formulation. Therefore, I actually didn't find the Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream to be too different from another moisturizer from Fresh, the
Vitamin Nectar Moisture Glow Face Cream. The texture is super refined and it absorbs nicely without leaving a greasy or heavy texture. Although it's advertised as a night cream, it can definitely be used in the day as well if you are on the drier side. The formulation mixes nicely with oils and serums and conversely, it layers well over other skincare and under makeup, posing no issues with patching or pilling. My skin looks plump and hydrated in the morning, with a subtle boost in radiance as well. Overall, this is a lovely moisturizer for all skin types. If you are looking for a rich yet lightweight formulation that deeply hydrates, definitely give this a go!
