After the success of its Moisture Surge Hydration Supercharged Concentrate (reviewed here), Clinique has released a new version of the product designed especially for the eye area. Promising a super long-lasting hydration, the Moisture Surge Eye 96-Hour Hydro-Filler Concentrate ($41 CAD for 15 ml) has an ultralight cushiony water-gel formulation. I've tried the concentrate for about two weeks now so I wanted to share with you my review today. To read on, click......
Much like the Moisture Surge Hydration Supercharged Concentrate, the Clinique Moisture Surge 96-Hour Hydro-Filler Concentrate comes in a convenient airless pump. With a clear gel base, the concentrate is dispersed with lipid spheres filled with aloe extract and antioxidants that hydrate and protect the delicate eye area. However, the spheres are quite few and far in between so they don't actually dispense with every pump. Also included in the formulation are green tea extract, algae extract, niacinamide, coconut oil, cucumber extract, and caffeine. With an instantly refreshing sensation, the concentrate is easy to blend and quick-absorbing. Although the gel contains silicone, it does not pill. The slightly tacky finish layers well under makeup and it does not migrate into the eyes. I personally really enjoy the non-greasy formulation and despite the lightweight formulation, the concentrate keeps the eye area hydrated and plump. This is not necessarily an eye product that I would recommend to those with mature skin but it's definitely a great option for those 30 and younger looking for a simple and hydrating eye gel for day and night.
