Available in four shades, each LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm comes in a differently colored squeeze tube paired with a hard rubber slanted applicator. The screw-on cap appears to have a secondary cap at its tip which I spend too long trying to remove, only to realize that it's a decorative element.
Formulation:
The LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm is a liquid lip balm infused with shea butter, candelilla wax, and murumuru butter. The formulation feels quite viscous straight out of the tube but once spread on the lips, it is soft and cushiony. The finish is not overly tacky and the texture is similar to other squeezable liquid lip balms (ex. Jack Black Moisture Therapy Lip Balm). However, the Lip Glowy Balm feels just a touch thicker than the beloved LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask. Four fruit-scented flavors are available and with the exception of "Pear", all of them are very lightly tinted to give the lips just a subtle hint of color. "Berry" is a baby pink, "Peach" is a soft orange, while "Grapefruit" is a light coral. In terms of hydration and longevity, the Lip Glowy Balm performs quite well. The formulation provides ample nourishment so the balms can be worn overnight. I do notice that my lips aren't as soft and conditioned as they are with my favorite Jack Black Moisture Therapy Lip Balms but the LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm comes close and definitely performs better than any stick lip balms. If you are looking for a travel-friendly, long-lasting liquid lip balm that's fruit-scented, then definitely check these out!
