Givenchy | 2019 Lunar New Year Edition Prisme Libre Loose Setting Powder in "1 Mousseline Pastel" ($75 CAD for 12 g):
Instead of the usual leather-covered packaging, the 2019 Lunar New Year Edition Prisme Libre Loose Setting Powder comes with a beautiful red foiled lid embossed with a reflective silvery gold clover print. The powder inside is in the classic "
1 Mousseline Pastel" shade combination, which consists of lavender, blue, green, and white. The four colors blend together to provide a mattifying, translucent finish that's silky and lightweight. The powder does leave behind a subtle white cast so it's not suitable for those with medium to dark skin tones. Givenchy does offer a few other color combinations but unfortunately, this special Lunar New Year Edition is only available in the shade "1 Mousseline Pastel".

Wrapped with a layer of genuine leather printed with a metallic clover pattern, the 2019 Lunar New Year Edition Le Rouge Lipstick in "
325 Rouge Fetiche" is described as a cool red by Givenchy. However, I find the color rather neutral, if not leaning slightly towards the warmer spectrum. The formulation is semi-sheer but buildable. I like how the color provides just a hint of sheen and translucency that give the lips a very healthy and fresh feel. Despite the moisturizing and slick texture, the lipstick does not bleed but it will transfer and fade with kissing, eating, and drinking.
