This year, the brand has created a whimsical, fairytale-inspired collection that includes everything from stocking stuffers, value sets, to all-in-one makeup palettes. Sephora Collection Holiday 2018 | Cream Lip Stain Collection Set ($34 CAD for 6 x 5 ml):
This is an amazingly priced value set (worth $108 CAD) containing full-sized Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipsticks from the Sephora Collection. You get six of the best-selling shades: a pale peach nude, a light coral peach, a neutral rosy mauve, a medium dusty pink, an intense true red, and a vampy burgundy red. Despite the affordable price, the Cream Lip Stains are super creamy, pigmented, and long-lasting, right on par with some of the more expensive liquid lipsticks on the market. The formulation dries down completely so the finish is transfer-resistant. I've reviewed a couple shades in the past, so feel free to check out my post here if you want to learn more about the formulation.
Sephora Collection Holiday 2018 | Starlit Brush Set ($39 CAD):
Housed in a collapsible metallic rose gold pouch that can be turned into a brush stand, this is a five-piece brush set made with cruelty-free, synthetic bristles. The handles are made of clear acrylic embedded with rose gold glitters. You get a small slanted powder brush, a small dome-shaped powder brush, a shader eyeshadow brush, a fluffy eyeshadow brush, and a slanted eyeliner brush. The overall quality is pretty good for the price but the bristles aren't the softest I've felt. Therefore, these are definitely more suitable for a younger clientele who may be just getting into makeup.
Sephora Collection Holiday 2018 | Midnight Wishes Eyeshadow Palette ($30 CAD for 16 x 0.42 g):
Housed in a slim but long cardboard palette, this is a 16-shade neutral eyeshadow collection consisting of a nice mix of warm and cool tone neutrals in both matte and shimmery finishes. Some of the shades do seem a bit similar to each other but for someone who really wants options when it comes to smokey grays, ivory nudes, and golden browns, this is pretty much the perfect palette that will also be really great for traveling as well, despite its funky shape. Currently, the palette is on sale for only $20 CAD!
Sephora Collection Holiday 2018 | The Enchanting Colors Eye and Face Palette ($23 CAD):
Another affordable mini palette, this is an eye and face palette containing 8 eyeshadows (1.3 g each) and 3 cheek colors (highlighter, bronzer, and blush, 0.4 g each). The color scheme is fairly neutral but you do get a few pops of pink and orange. For those that want a convenient, all-in-one palette, this is a great option.
Sephora Collection Holiday 2018 | Enchanted Sky Eyeshadow Palette ($13 CAD for 8 x 0.95 g):
Housed in a glittery rose gold cardboard compact not much larger than the palm of my hand, this is a cute mini eyeshadow palette containing 8 cool tone smoky neutrals. This is an adorable stocking stuffer but it's also great for those looking for some wintery colors for the holiday time!
Sephora Collection Holiday 2018 | Once Upon A Palette ($43 CAD):
If you want something a bit bigger, the Once Upon A Palette offers 20 eyeshadows (0.68 g each), 3 cheek colors (bronzer, blush, highlighter, 1.55 g each), and 1 full sized Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in a festive true red. Housed in a cardboard case, the palette comes on a plastic insert and it's shielded with a cardboard flap that folds to a small-sized mirror. I find the cheek colors a little too small to use with a standard powder brush but the eyeshadows do come in a nice range of color. Also included are a couple of tutorials for makeup beginners.
Sephora Collection Holiday 2018 | Once Upon A Blockbuster ($62 CAD):
For those that want it all, the Once Upon A Blockbuster is a gigantic makeup palette featuring 78 eyeshadows, 24 lip glosses, 4 brow powders, 12 cream eyeliners, 3 highlighters, 3 bronzers, and 6 blushes. Everything comes in a hard plastic case shaped like an owl silhouette with side drawers that open up like pairs of wings. I think for teens who are just getting into makeup, this would make the perfect gift as it includes pretty much everything needed to create a complete look!
