Marc Jacobs Holiday 2018 | O!Mega Glaze All-Over Foil Luminizer in "79 Gilty" ($59 CAD for 10 g):
Housed in a stunning mirrored gold compact, this is a limited edition powder highlighter formulated with "micro-fine, jet-milled" pigments. Pressed with a simple lined designed, the powder is buttery smooth and super intense. The color is a warm pink champagne gold that's very flattering and not too "yellow". You can easily build it up to achieve a high-impact strobing effect or apply sparingly for a more natural glow. If you love a good champagne highlighter, this is an absolute must-have. The packaging is simply gorgeous and you get quite a lot of product that will last pretty much forever.
Marc Jacobs Holiday 2018 | See-quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow ($35 CAD for 3.5 g):
Available in six shades and packaged in a limited edition gold-capped glass jar, the See-quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow is a semi-pressed loose eyeshadow packed to the brim with shimmers and sparkles. Each shade contains not only fine metallic particles but also large, chunky bits of glitter so if you aren't a fan of glitter, steer clear. The formulation is fairly creamy and non-gritty but the shadows are mostly glitter so the application can be uneven. Therefore, these work best as a glitter topper over a cream base. Needless to say, the See-quins have a considerable amount of fallouts so make sure to apply carefully. See below for a breakdown of each shade.
80 Flashlight: With a slightly more subtle combination of icy pearlescent shimmers and sparkles, this shade is sheerer in comparison to the others. I can see it working really well as an inner corner highlight.
82 Gleam Girl: This is a soft golden brown packed with silver sparkles. This one is sheerer than expected and I had to layer quite a bit to achieve a mostly even coverage.
86 Copperazzi: Scattered with warm gold sparkles, Copperazzi is a stunning copper metallic. In terms of formulation, this shade is much more pigmented and intense as compared to the previous two.
90 Topaz Flash: This is a medium taupe shimmer packed with multi-colored (pink, gold, purple) glitter. Similar to Copperazzi, Topaz Flash is very pigmented and high-impact.
Marc Jacobs Holiday 2018 | Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer Lipgloss in "368 Shine A Light" ($35 CAD for 5 ml):
Housed in a clear acrylic tube paired with a reflective silver and gold cap, the limited edition Enamored Hi-Shine Lip Lacquer Lipgloss in "368 Shine A Light" is a very unique glitter gloss consisting of a translucent, pale gold base packed with subtle pink shimmers. Judging from the tube, the color looks a bit strange as a lip color. However, the sheer yellow base almost does not show up on the lips, providing only a very shiny, glossy finish scattered with micro-shimmers. I'm generally not a lipgloss fan but the formulation here is quite lovely. Lightweight and hydrating, the finish has zero tackiness and wears comfortably for hours.
Marc Jacobs Holiday 2018 | On The Dot Mini Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayon Trio ($31 CAD for 3 x 1.2 g):
Last but certainly not least is this mini lip trio containing three Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayons. With an impossibly lightweight, slick, and high-impact formulation, the Le Marc Liquid Lip Crayons are opaque in just one swipe. All three shades have a satin metallic finish. "310 Night Mauves" is a flattering soft rose scattered with subtle pearlescent shimmers and "360 Plum N Get It" is a dark plummy berry with a subtle lavender sheen. Finally, "410 Red-y To Go" is a brand new shade exclusive to this set and it's a deep red with a festive warm golden sheen.
