For this holiday season,
Lise Watier took inspirations from its iconic Neiges Eau de Toilette and created a makeup collection inspired by the breezy, white floral fragrance. Featuring a handful or winter colors for the eyes, lips, and cheeks, the
Holiday 2018 Neiges Collection is interestingly not scented with the Neiges fragrance. Nevertheless, the pieces are sparkly, festive, and perfect for any winter celebrations. To see some swatches and read my review of the lineup, click......

Lise Watier Holiday 2018 | Neiges Dress Code 5-Colour Eyeshadow Palette & Ombre Souffle Supreme in "Amethyste" |
Lise Watier Holiday 2018 | Neiges Dress Code 5-Colour Eyeshadow Palette ($39 CAD):
Beautifully presented in a shiny silver compact adorned with a thin layer of sparkly glitter, the Neiges Dress Code 5-Colour Eyeshadow Palette includes a matte ivory white, a dark cool brown, a mauve brown satin, a shimmery beige taupe, and a shimmery mossy taupe. All five shades are incredibly silky, rich, and pigmented. Even the two mattes are packed with rich, buttery pigments that almost feel like a cream. Lise Watier eyeshadows are already amazing but I feel like they've somehow made things even better!
Lise Watier Holiday 2018 | Ombre Souffle Supreme in "Amethyste" ($27 CAD):
With an airy, bouncy texture that's not quite a cream and not quite a powder, the Ombre Souffle Supreme in "Amethyste" is a pale mauve with a subtle hint of shimmers. The shade applied sheerer than expected and it felt like the pigments didn't really adhere well to the skin. I've tried other Ombre Souffle Supreme colors in the past and didn't have the same experience so I'm not sure if this was just an unfortunate exception. Nevertheless, the color still looks even and flattering, perfect for a soft wash of color on the lids.

Lise Watier Holiday 2018 | Neiges Highlighting Powder |
Lise Watier Holiday 2018 | Neiges Highlighting Powder ($45 CAD for 14 g):
Housed in a large sparkly compact similar to that of the eyeshadow palette, the Neiges Highlighting Powder consists of five different shades each pressed with an ornate snowflake pattern. It's worth noting that the white decorative patches on each snowflake are actually an overspray that doesn't extend all the way through. Included are a classic champagne shimmer, a pale peach shimmer, a pale rose gold shimmer, an icy pink shimmer, and a pale gold shimmer packed with an extra dose of sparkles. Quite honestly, all the shades are pretty similar to each other so you can probably just swirl a brush across all five to get a nice pale champagne. The formulation is incredibly soft and buttery smooth, almost to a fault. While I was trying to photograph the powder, a piece of cardboard from my lighting set-up fell onto the palette and the light force easily shattered one of the corner shades. Therefore, definitely handle with care and do not bring this palette while traveling. Lastly, a sparkly and limited edition powder brush designed to be used with the powder is available as a part of this collection (Neiges Face and Corsage Brush $32 CAD).

Lise Watier Holiday 2018 | Neiges Dress Code 5-Colour Lip Palette, Neiges Sparkling Lipstick, "Festive Kiss" Baiser Metal Matte |
Lise Watier Holiday 2018 | Neiges Dress Code 5-Colour Lip Palette ($29 CAD for 6.6 g):
Housed in the same sparkly silver compact as that of the Neiges Dress Code Eyeshadow Palette, the Neiges Dress Code 5-Colour Lip Palette comes with two small lip brushes. Included are five lipstick shades. "
Caprice" is a sheer light berry scattered with a subtle hint of shimmers. "
Jennifer" is a sheer peachy nude and "
Sweet Berries" is a rich and unique rosy red. Lastly, "
Sandra" is a flattering rose nude and "
Cerise Noire" is a vampy deep cherry red. In terms of formulation, all five shades are smooth and creamy. The lighter shades are noticeably sheer but buildable while the darker shades apply nicely to create an intense pop of color. Even if you aren't a big fan of lip palettes, this one is worth checking out as it gives a nice introduction to the Lise Watier lipstick formulation.

Lise Watier Holiday 2018 | Neiges Dress Code 5-Colour Lip Palette, Neiges Sparkling Lipstick, "Festive Kiss" Baiser Metal Matte (Top to Bottom) |
Lise Watier Holiday 2018 | Neiges Sparkling Lipstick ($25 CAD for 3.9 g):
With a gorgeous semi-sheer berry core surrounded by a layer or sparkly balm, the Neiges Sparkling Lipstick is very hydrating and lightweight. Application right from the tube is a bit uneven as it's hard to distribute the berry color to the edges of the lips. Therefore, Lise Watier recommends using a lip brush to obtain a uniform finish. The shimmers appear obvious in the tube but once applied on the lips, they are barely visible. The formulation fades easily with eating and drinking but overall, this is a nicely packaged and well-presented sheer berry lipstick.

Lise Watier Holiday 2018 | Baiser Metal Matte in "Festive Kiss" ($28 CAD for 6 ml):
A limited edition shade created especially for Holiday 2018, the Baiser Metal Matte is a shimmery peachy pink liquid lipstick. The formulation is opaque and sparkly but the texture doesn't feel as creamy and smooth as I would have liked. Although lightweight and non-drying, the lipstick does not set completely and will patch with eating and drinking. Therefore, regular touch-ups are needed throughout the day.
