It's only mid-October but the fact of the matter is, the holiday shopping season has officially started. So today I want to share with my review and swatches of the new limited edition

Packaging:
The Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks come in clear acrylic tubes embossed with raised gold letterings. The two limited edition versions here feature specially designed caps printed with cute little gingerbread men and gingerbread girls. The applicator is a simple doe-foot with a slanted tip.
Formulation:
The Too Faced Melted Mattes are creamy liquid lipsticks that sets to a completely transfer-proof finish. The formulation applies very smoothly and it is opaque in one swipe. The lipstick will last through drinking and moderate eating but it will patch with heavy, greasy foods. Like most liquid lipsticks, the formulation isn't very hydrating so make sure to properly prep the lips (scrub and moisturize) before applying.

Gingerbread Man" was the limited edition holiday shade from last year and it has returned due to popular demand. It is a rich, warm gingerbread brown. "
Gingerbread Girl", the new shade this year, is a deeper, rosy brown. Both shades are infused with the most delicious gingerbread scent. I'm honestly impressed with how accurate the smell is to the real thing! Overall, these are two lovely brown-toned liquid lipsticks. Neither shade is my cup of tea but the formulation is just superb and the smell is to die for!
