Dior | Rouge Dior Ultra Rouge Ultra Pigmented Hydra Lipstick ($43 CAD for 3.2 g):
Housed in a special Rouge Dior packaging that's lacquered with a shiny red finish, this is a range of comfortable, semi-matte lipsticks that promise a 12-hour wear. The lipstick is lightweight, smoothing, and very pigmented. With a rounded bullet, I was expecting the formulation to be quite soft and overly balmy but the colors were just the right amount of creamy. Dior describes that the Ultra Rouge wears like an ink but I'm not sure what that means. The formulation feels just like any ordinary cream lipstick as the color doesn't stain or sink into the lips. Additionally, although the lipsticks wear pretty well, they are still prone to transferring and smudging so touch-ups are needed throughout the day. Nevertheless, this is a range of beautifully-packaged, pigmented, satin-finish lipsticks that's definitely worth checking out. There are a total of 26 shades to choose from. 641 Ultra Spice: A burnt orange-red, "641 Ultra Spice" is the perfect fall lip color. The formulation is even and nicely pigmented.
999 Ultra Dior: The Dior signature red, "999 Ultra Dior" is a bright true red. Just like "641 Ultra Spice", the color is super rich and pigmented.
Dior | Rouge Dior Ink Lip Liner ($38 CAD for 1.1 ml):
Packaged with a convenient felt-tip applicator, the Rouge Dior Ink Lip Liner is a liquid lip liner with a water-based formulation. With an ultra-rich pigmentation, the Ink Lip Liners are opaque in one swipe but the application is somewhat patchy. Additionally, it doesn't feel like there is a lot of product in the tube as only after a couple of uses, the felt was starting to dry up ever so slightly. The Ink Lip Liners can be used to only line the lips but because the water-based formulation doesn't blend out like a regular cream lip liner, it works best when applied all over the lips like a lip stain.
Unfortunately, because the color is water-soluble, the liners don't wear well when worn alone as a lip stain. When it comes in contact with water through eating and drinking, the formulation will fade noticeably and become very patchy. Therefore, these are best used with a lipstick or lipgloss to seal in the color. Overall, I really like the packaging and the application of the Ink Lip Liners. However, the formulation lacks longevity, which is what I value the most in a lip liner. 11 Shades are available in the range, see below my review of "

777 Star: A slightly burnt orange, "777 Star" is pigmented but slightly patchy.
743 Rouge Zinnia: This is a beautiful dark red that's also very pigmented but just a touch uneven. This is a shade that looks really good on its own but because it's not waterproof, any light drinking will cause the color to fade in patches.
