For Fall 2018, Dior is setting things ablaze with the fiery new Dior en Diable Collection. Featuring shades of copper, orange, and rust, the limited edition collection "celebrates the femme fatale with a palette of red-hot colors and smoldering effects". Dior Fall 2018 Dior en Diable Collection | 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette ($73 CAD for 7 g):
Pressed with a subtle yet exquisite stitched leather pattern, two 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palettes are available as a part of the Dior en Diable Collection. I have here the "837 Devilish" palette, featuring a satin pinkish white, a shimmery beige-gold, a shimmery mossy green, a satin dark brown with subtle gold sparkles, and a rich matte red. All the satins and shimmers are silky and smooth while the matte red is slightly patchy. In terms of pigmentation, the palette fares just okay; all the shades are buildable but none provide a very impactful look. The color combination looks a little daunting in the palette but I was actually able to create a harmonious look using all five shades. So overall, the formulation is just satisfactory but from a collector's point-of-view, the packaging alone is way too beautiful to pass up.
Dior Fall 2018 Dior en Diable Collection | Rouge Blush Couture Colour Long-Wear Powder Blush ($54 CAD for 6.7 g):
Housed in a simple black compact similar to that of the eyeshadow palette, the Rouge Blush in "459 Charnelle" is a powder blush in a subtle and sophisticated peach bronze with a satin finish. The formulation is super silky and easy to blend and the color is very natural. I personally prefer a more pink-toned blush but for anybody that like a peachy flush, then this is definitely a great everyday pick.
Dior Fall 2018 Dior en Diable Collection | Rouge Dior Couture Colour Lipstick ($43 CAD for 3.5 g):
Available in four limited edition shades, the Rouge Dior Couture Colour Lipstick comes in a luxurious black and silver packaging etched with the iconic Dior cannage pattern. "344 Devilish Nude" is a light warm pink with a satin pearl finish. The formulation is nicely pigmented but the color does settle and accentuate fine lines. "646 On Fire" is a bright metallic orange with a pretty golden sheen. The formulation is pigmented; one swipe provides an opaque, even coverage that's lightweight and comfortable. Last but certainly not least is "785 Rouge en Diable", a deep burgundy red. Pigmented and creamy, the color is a bit too vampy for my personal liking but it's certainly great for fall. In terms of wear, these lipstick perform just okay, the colors transfer easily with eating and drinking so touch-ups are needed throughout the day.

A deep burgundy red, "851 Rouge en Diable" is the perfect vampy fall nail color. The polish is pigmented and easy to apply. I used two coats for the swatches below.
Overall, this is fairly traditional fall collection in terms of color offerings. My personal picks are the Rouge Blush in "459 Charnelle", Rouge Dior in "636 On Fire", and the Le Vernis in "851 Rouge en Diable". Have you spotted this collection at your local Dior counter?
