01 Effervescent: This is a very pretty lavender shimmer. The shimmers are rather subtle so the gloss looks very natural on the lips.
02 Luminescent: The sheerest of the bunch, Luminescent is a sparse milky gold shimmer.
03 Opalescent: A soft orange shimmer that in no way looks "Opalescent", this shade is comparably more shimmery than the previous two.
04 Crystalescent: This is a very sheer soft milky pink shimmer that should have been named "Opalescent".
08 Passion Glow: Perhaps the most pigmented shade out of the bunch, Passion Glow is still a very sheer rosy coral shimmer with a soft golden sheen.

Packaging:
The Lancome Prismatic Plump Lip Gloss comes in a simple but well-made clear acrylic tube paired with a glossy black cap. The doe-foot applicator is flattened on both sides for a smooth application.
Formulation:
Available in eight shimmery shades, the Prismatic Plump Lip Gloss features a non-sticky, lightweight formulation that feels nice and cooling on the lips. While the gloss makes the lips appear smoother and more voluminous, it doesn't actually have a noticeable plumping effect. The formulation is a lot sheerer than expected based on the Sephora online swatches. None of the shades have any base pigment (only shimmer particles), so these are probably best paired with a lip stain or lipstick. See below for a breakdown of the five shades I have here.

Overall, this is a nice line of sheer shimmery lip glosses more suitable as a lip topper than a wear-alone lip color. The formulation is lightweight, non-sticky, and fairly hydrating. There's a slight cooling sensation during the first 15 minute of wear but there is no noticeable plumping effect. What are your thoughts on sheer shimmery lip glosses?
