Dermablend | Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Pigments |
Dermablend | Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Pigments in "10N" ($52 CAD for 30 ml):
Formulated with 33% pigments, the Flawless Creator is a customizable liquid pigment that can be used on its own as a full-coverage foundation or sheered out by mixing it with your moisturizer of choice. The product comes in a glass vial equipped with a dropper dispenser. The formulation is fairly viscous but it is very easy to spread. In terms of pigmentation, the Flawless Creator is super intense, just the lightest swipe provides a fully opaque coverage that camouflages all blemishes and discoloration. The product feels rather slick and silicone-y but it is not very smoothing as the pigments settled right into the pores on my nose and clung to dry patches and fine lines around the mouth. This made for a very unflattering finish and that's a deal breaker for me.

Dermablend | Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Pigments |
I figured that things would look better if I mixed the Flawless Creator with a moisturizer but the same problem persisted. It appears that the pigments simply don't have a cushiony enough base so the formulation does not glide smoothly over textural imperfections. Perhaps the pigments can be mixed in with a sheerer foundation that's already smoothing but I really would have preferred to use it just on its own. In terms of wear, I did experience some creasing and fading on and around the nose but the pigments really clung to the skin. Even with my trusty cleansing oils, I found it a bit difficult to remove, so double (or maybe even triple) cleansing is a must.

Dermablend | Flawless Creator Multi-Use Liquid Pigments in "10N" |
The Flawless Creator is available in ten shades and I have here "
10N". This is a very pale neutral ivory that's way too light for my skin tone. Surprisingly, this is only the second lightest shade so those with very fair skin definitely has options here. Overall, despite its intense pigmentation, the Flawless Creator just doesn't look good on my skin as the formulation emphasized every pore and fine line. This may not be a concern for those with a silky, refined complexion but for someone like me who suffers from enlarged pores and acne scars, it's a pass.

Dermablend | Glow Creator Multi-Use Liquid Highlighter in "Pearl" |
Dermablend | Glow Creator Multi-Use Liquid Highlighter in "Pearl" ($36 CAD for 15 ml):
Housed in a glass dropper vial slightly smaller than the Flawless Creator, the Glow Creator is a liquid highlighter formulated with 20% pearl pigments. The highlighter is available in two shades and I have here "
Pearl", a pale icy pink shimmer. With a viscous texture similar to that of the Flawless Creator, the Glow Creator packs a serious punch of shine. The shimmer particles are super fine so what you get is a uniform sheen that's not gritty or sparkly. The highlighter is easy to blend and works beautifully even on top of powder foundations or blushes. The highlighting effect is customizable so you can dab on a little or pack on a lot. Additionally, the formulation can be mixed with a moisturizer or foundation for an all-over glow. The finish is dry-to-touch and fairly smudge-proof but I did notice significant fading by the end of the day. Nevertheless, this is an amazing liquid highlighter. If you enjoy the likes of
Benefit High Beam and
Lancome Custom Glow Drops and perhaps what something a little more concentrated, then definitely check this out!
