LANEIGE BB Cushion Hydra Radiance SPF 50 ($49 CAD for 30 g) is one the bestselling cushion foundations in the world and it is finally available in stores and online at

Packaging:
The LANEIGE BB Cushion Hydra Radiance comes in a standard cushion compact. There's a nice mirror on the underside of the lid and the foundation-soaked sponge cushion reservoir has an extra lid to ensure freshness. To apply, simply use the included antimicrobial sponge applicator and press into the cushion to pick up some product. Then dab and pat to blend onto the face. Also included are an extra refill and sponge applicator so in total, you get 30 g of foundation.
Formulation:
Made with both chemical and physical sunscreen (7% octinoxate, 4.15% titanium dioxide, 9.8% zinc oxide), BB Cushion Hydra Radiance is a natural coverage, luminous finish cushion foundation offering an SPF 50 protection against both UVA and UVB rays. The formulation is fairly thin and sheer and although it's buildable, I would recommend using a high-coverage concealer to camouflage any pronounced redness or blemishes. With the included applicator, the foundation applies and blends flawlessly. The formulation blurs pores and provides a subtle smoothing effect. Despite the BB Cushion Hydra Radiance name, the finish isn't super dewy which I really enjoy as I have oily/combination skin. With that said, I would still recommend pairing this with a powder to ensure a longer, fresher wear.
The range offers six colors and I have here the second and third lightest shades. "
No. 21 Beige" is a neutral light beige. This shade is the perfect fit for my NC15 skin. "
No. 23 Sand" is a medium beige with a warm undertone. In terms of wear, the BB Cushion Hydra Radiance SPF 50 fared much better than expected. I've tried quite a handful of cushion foundations in the past and I've found the longevity to be lackluster, especially if the product is advertised to have a fresh, luminous finish. However, despite providing long-lasting hydration, the BB Cushion Hydra Radiance wasn't super greasy. I experienced some minor shine around the T-Zone and some fading and creasing around the nose but the rest of the face stayed mostly intact. I personally would have preferred more coverage but with the impressive SPF 50 protection, I'm still very impressed! Overall, this is a great cushion foundation that's especially perfect for the summertime!
