Chanel | L'Huile Anti-Pollution Cleansing Oil: Review
Chanel | L'Huile Anti-Pollution Cleansing Oil
Chanel | L'Huile Anti-Pollution Cleansing Oil ($53 CAD for 150 ml):
Housed in a simple plastic bottle paired with a pump dispenser, the L'Huile Anti-Pollution Cleansing Oil from Chanel is made with a sunflower oil base that's infused with two marine plant extracts (blue micro-algae and marine salicornia extract) designed to combat and protect the skin from pollution and environmental stressors. With a soft floral fragrance, the oil is super lightweight but not runny. I've had a lot of experiences with cleansing oils in the past and I found the texture of this to be the most "non-greasy". It spreads easily across the skin without dripping along my arms and it removes every trace of makeup (waterproof mascara and eyeliner included). Even without fully emulsifying with water, the oil washes off easily, leaving behind no oily film. With a lot of cleansing oils, I find the need to follow up with a foam cleanser but with this one, I feel confident going straight into my skincare routine without worrying about any residues. Additionally, $53 for 150 ml from Chanel is surprisingly affordable. So if you are looking for a new high-end cleansing oil, definitely check this out!

Chanel | Le Lait Anti-Pollution Cleansing Milk-To-Water: Review
Chanel | Le Lait Anti-Pollution Cleansing Milk-To-Water ($53 CAD for 150 ml):
Also packaged with a convenient pump dispenser, the Le Lait Anti-Pollution Cleansing Milk-To-Water dispenses as a creamy, milky gel. As soon as it's massaged onto the face, the formulation turns into a light watery liquid that removes all traces of makeup (waterproof mascara included). Quite honestly, this product is unlike anything I've tried. It looks like a cleansing milk but works like a cleansing oil. However, the texture is not oily so it feels more like a viscous cleansing water that rinses off with ease. All in all, I'm a fan! If you are looking for an all-in-one makeup remover and cleanser that gets the job done right and is easy to apply and remove (no cotton pads needed), then this is your pick!

Chanel | Le Tonique Anti-Pollution Invigorating Toner: Review
Chanel | Le Tonique Anti-Pollution Invigorating Toner
Chanel | Le Tonique Anti-Pollution Invigorating Toner ($53 CAD for 150 ml):
Last but not least is this alcohol-free toner also formulated with extracts of blue micro-algae and marine salicornia. With a light, watery consistency, the toner comes in a squeezable plastic bottle equipped with a small spout opening. Once applied onto the skin, the toner feels refreshing and calming. There's no tingling or stinging as the formulation is very mild. The toner supposedly removes makeup as well but $53 is a lot to pay for a makeup remover so I've so far only been using it after fully cleansing my face. Overall, this is a pretty standard hydrating toner. I don't think it's as special as the Le Lait Cleansing Milk-To-Water or the L'Huile Cleansing Oil but the formulation is gentle and pleasant.
